As someone living with very little money I agree with the idea of quality argument. Does not always mean the most money. I have latge size shoes. Often costs me around 100 for a pair of shoes. Never really last. Found a pair my size at Walmart for 25. Last almost the same amount of time.
Same with me. Found some nice $200 jeans that'll last me 3 or 4 years instead of buying $60 jeans every 6 months. I'll pay for the quality if it's going to be actual quality
I enjoyed the Cowboy Bebop live action as a Cowboy Bebop inspired show more than a direct adaptation. I feel like things were just different enough that they could've changed the names and design of the characters, ships, and planets and made an original show.
Anyone traveling to Japan, flying into Tokyo, I recommend the following: 1) fly into haneda airport if you can afford/able to 2) if flying into Narita, if you don't absolutely need to end in Tokyo station in one train, take the skyliner. It ends at Ueno rather than Tokyo station, but there's many trains from Ueno to Tokyo. The skyliner I like more because everyone takes the Narita express so it's always crowded, less people take the skyliner Edit: reason to fly into haneda: it's a 6 buck subway ride that's 30-40mins rather than a 25 buck, 2hr train ride that you need to do from narita
in spanish, at least european spanish, the letter v is basically obsolete, it's always read as a b. so someone named trevor is gonna get called trebor. so it's not that they had a hard time saying his name, it's that they were saying it as if it was a spanish name. barbara on the other hand, is a name that does exist in latin rooted languages, so it's easier for a spanish speaker to pronounce, they'll just pronounce it differently, bar-ba-rah instead of bar-brah
It's because Blaine seeks mostly external validation and is worried he will be judged as one of the problematic fans of the show because it's known that at least a large part of the fan base was extremely toxic
people who hate the live action cowboy bebop just have nostalgia for the anime. The show felt to me just like the anime. They also just didn't like that they added in new stuff which was going to happen regardless. The ONLY bad part was the acting of Edward
Ah yes my favorite part. Chewing like a bunch of cattle into a mic. I always hear the people of rooster teeth say they hate the sounds of chewing them the aggressively take full on bites of chip on mic. I had to stop listening. Looks like I’m waiting till next week.
What Blaine is talking about of buying the more expensive thing because it will outlast the cheap thing to the point of saving you money but it being a privilege is called the 'Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness'
Blaine, the next time you go to Japan, you need to get in contact with Nakayama Kinnikun(なかやまきんに君). He's a famous body builder in Japan that can speak English, and he's been getting mad-ripped lately. I know you'll get along with him, and get some good advice on eating healthy, stress free.
Apparently the guy who used to own the house we bought recently was the hated guy in the neighborhood. Like, waving guns in the street kind of guy. I keep my gun waving confined to the backyard.
Despite being the second most common spelling (Stephen) , people when seeing my name go "Steffen?" Then my last name I'm not sure if better or worse because it's spelled Guild, but it's pronounced like "Guy old". I don't like using nicknames either, so I guess I'm stuck.
porch pirates nothin, cops don't do much of shit for a stolen vehicle anymore either. If you've got insurance they just take a report so they can give it to your insurance company and then you can go pay your deductible and leave them alone.
See you all in 2023. As a fan of pop culture, I hope you all Rooster Teeth’s 20th birthday. But throughout the year will be the 90th anniversary of the original 1933 King Kong and the entire franchise.
Headphone User. Can you please turn down Blaine’s mic. Every time he speaks i have to turn down my volume and every time anyone else talks their voice are low. Am i the only one experiencing this?
Headphone user too, do you think all of Blaine's audio is too loud? Or only some parts? He seems on par with the others to me, and typically I listen at about half the volume bar
I enjoyed the cowboy bebop live action way more than the anime tbh and I've watched the anime 2 times It's cool the anime isn't bad at all but the live action was its own thing and it worked for what it was and was great
