It's pretty difficult for me to believe this man due to the fact he beat his first wife to death in the 1980s. I've forgotten how many years he was in prison for this horrible crime.
Most people think this is the way it happened, BUT NO this is not true, his two kids told this story, but what really happened was his wife had a medical condition that she had Seiures Kerry was trying to hold her from hurting herself, the seizure killed her, the kids were traumatized, I was near the whole thing was horrible but NOT Kerrys fault some day this will all come out, I hope I am alive to tell the story,, but now is not the time, I am not going to dig up old wounds
I love history--especially the Wild West! A sensitive person, can actually feel history. Never have I been to a place, where the spirit of the past, could be cut with a knife! I have been to many such places in my life: Liberty Jall, Yourtown, and Diamond Mountain, are three that are prominent in my memory. Years ago, while searching for a lost cache, up Jackson Draw, I asked my brother Ross, if he could feel anything different in the area. "Yes, this place feels highly haunted--almost spooky--I'm not sure I like spending the night on this mountain!" He replied. Well, I said, "I was impacted the same way, when I first visited the place--now, I have come to savor the experience". Altogether too many people, take their history with them, when they depart this realm. I've been reading Kerry's articles since the 1970s, when I acquired an interest in treasure hunting. Perhaps some day, someone will no doubt be pouring over my journals, looking for a scrap of information, about some lost treasure.
