I am truly going to miss the show and the exceptional talent. The genius of Shonda Rhimes with the outstanding storylines were just phenomenal. She made viewing audiences think.
It is December of 2023 and I am just starting on the final season of Scandal yeah yeah I know I'm late but I have been glued to this series and binge watching it Non-Stop and I absolutely love it - it has inspired more in me than I could ever imagine ❤

I wish Scandal wouldn't have stopped it could have went on and on until people didn't want to see it anymore and I don't think that would have been for a while look at the soap operas like Young and the Restless 45 years and still going strong I think scandal could have had probably another 5-10 years so sad I guess we'll never know
LHarp Yeahhh, I must admit it's been one hell of a ride! They are already in syndication though so there's always that. And my vote is still TBD pending the series finale, but I know the majority of the cast are really, really hoping for a movie version 🙆💃so hopefully they can do a proper script in the years to come! 😊
Let's be honest guys, the first four seasons were the most captivating as hell, the most breathaking and of course scandalous. I've always compared this show as the feminine version of 24 because of the patriotism this very loyalty betrayed, the major characters who take sometimes the wrong decisions (Liv you know what you did to Andrew,😬 Jack took big risks every single season and he paid the price, R.I.P Terry) In brief, Scandal is the prefect mix of political crimes, murdering love affair, terrorism in every state, the same DNA of 24. I can't stop imagine myself if scriptwriters would make a cross-over between these two, it'd be such explosive. 🤫💣🇺🇸⚖⏳🍷👅
UNQUANGL7 L Kerry Washington doesn't hide her hair, Olivia Pope and whatever role she is playing does. She is being her now with her natural hair, like she does when she is not playing a role. She is paid to be someone else as her job, which means different types of clothes, hair, etc. Whatever sets the theme of what they are trying to play. The reason that everyone likes the show is because Kerry Washington is good at playing Olivia Pope and Oliva Pope has a look. Her hair was natural in Save the Last Dance. Bottom line, learn how to separate real life from television. Whoever pays her and writes the script decides what her hair looks like and doesn't everyone does what their boss says?
Akimus. who said those is not extension... black women are versatile with their hair and style....that is why other cultures are so jealous....also, she was hiding her hair....in white Hollywood, they try and fit in, because they are told what works better to draw all race in to watch their show... You know... Sometimes people place the game.....but clearly black is beautiful and natural hair looks better on black women despite of what popular opinion say....🎳
From the beginning Shonda Rhimes said it would only be a six or seven season series. There's only so much they could do with that type of plot and premise. A few years ago she said it'd be Season 6, but they held out a little while longer.
Love Kerri and Scandal. I'll binge watch on Netflix and skip past the Jake stuff because he messed up the vibe of the show. Not Scott Foley, because I love him, but because he was a love interest. Olitz fan for life, lol
Ummm.. as if Kerry Washington ever dishes anything. Good actress but annoys me when she gets asked "Who's team are u on?" "Team Shonda rhimes." Who do u think is gonna have a happy ending? "Shonda rhimes!" Arrrgh.. won't even bother listening to her interviews anymore unless there's Fitz.
Really? I disagree. I was just saying to myself, "this is the best I've seen Kerry look in a while." She sometimes looks a little flushed out, ashy but these warm, orangy tones, compliment her her green shirt beautifully. To top it off her natural hair looks great! Personal preference I guess :)
