I am also a fan of the warm tones of copper, bronze, brass, etc. (there are a few more varieties). If a knife is good quality or better, and copper (or brass or bronze or bell-metal), I’ll buy it!
It really is a nice knife, and if you like copper like I do, it’s an almost perfect knife, on sale for under $30.00! I don’t really need a flipper or a lock, or even exotic steel. The blade on this knife, with its true mirror finish, is beautiful. It feels solid, and simple as a rock. If this was the only knife I could ever have, I wouldn’t feel (too) deprived. It’s not any heavier than any other knife 1/2” longer!
It's hard to over rate this knife. Even the culpeppers that aren't copper get rave reviews. It's a classic design that just works. The craftsmanship is superb. The price is ridiculously low. It all ads up to value. Thanks for you're comments brother 🙏
I really like supersteels. But, you don't need them on a pocket knife and each steel has to be hardened and quenched in different and narrow parameters. If not, you paid a lot of money for nothing.
If the micarta scale one is as good as this knife. It's well earned. I really think the Case copperlock is in the top tier of edc knives. This knife, I think, gives the copperlock a run for its money .
