Kershaw really seems to be going more after the “knife people” market. Doing a good job with the non-assisted, the sprint runs, and exclusives lately. This is the best channel on RU-vid. Really glad I found y’all.

Yes, that ZT sales has been good, but you have to shop around. I picket up a few, like the 0462. That Persian trailing edge is cool, but the stock pocket clip had to go.

If they make an all black version, I'm in. Really like the pocket clip design. And no AO is a win. Also I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything when Frankie said I don't like having empty holes. I lost it. Great video.

My wife bought me this knife for my birthday, I am really impressed by it and to it being a sinkivich design and D2, i was really surprised. Its my edc when I want to have something with me thats not a brick and dont have wear something like jeans for it to be on

I love the design and blade shape... The scales are hideous tho... They really need to chamfer the hole on the pocket clip and use a flat head screw to make it flush as well... Honestly the launch 1 is similar and worth the extra few bucks

Wow that’s pretty awesome reminds me of the Canadian belt knife but I tend to never pay more than $40 for a folding knife I’ll check the price on it in a year or two I seem to always by the old proven designs that are marked way down because they are discontinuing or something

I got mine a few days ago. And holy crap. I absolutely love this knife! I expected it to be “meh” but wow. I like it better than my ZT 0460. It’s got a little bit of sharpness on the edges of the G10, but a little bit of fine grit sanding (less than a minute) and that was resolved. 5 big stars. Get one while u can.

I love Kershaw but there are other China made knives in D2 that have Bronze ferris or ceramic bearings for less than $50.00. I have a few Bestech that are of equal quality. The Kershaw is more expensive because of the designer.

I sold my Atmos. If Kershaw came out with an Atmos with D-2, VG-10 or 14 or 14c28n I'd buy it again. Tumbler looks good but I'm not into larger knives anymore.

More for D2 and bigger blade is 100% fine by me. And I'm pretty sure it's real carbon fiber. If you look you can see it inside the grooves.

@@BirdShotIV Got it this afternoon. My first impression is that it doesn't feel like a Kershaw, which in this case is a good thing. It also doesn't feel like a ZT. It's like an Atmos and a 0470 got liquored up and had a weird love child. That said, the action is smooth out of the box, and the detent, though it *feels* a little on the light side, is more than adequate. Try as I might, I can't wrist flick it open, and i also have difficulty forcing a failed opening. Again, all positives. The blade is slicy and seems well ground, so yay. The only knock I could give it is that it feels a tiny bit cheap for the price range, though it's very well designed, and a Kershaw with D2? I mean, come on. And hooray for no SpeedSafe.

Cool looking knife, it's always nice to see more well done entry level knives. Atmos is the mini budget version of the ZT 0470. The ZT 0460 is the smaller Persian style Sinkevich.

Having seen a lot of the testing people have been doing, & watching prices creep up, you can keep your widely variable d2 on any knife at this point. 14c28n, 440c, aus8 or 10 are way better choices... & i think i'm with oldschool frankie on preferring 8cr. Sinkevich is badass though, still thinking of picking up a 450 sometime. Thanks for showing it off, looks like a hit.

i actually really like the scales, clip, hardware, unassisted, flipper tab. i do prefer a bit shorter blade. i'd pay more for a true unassisted m390 dividend, though. while i normally carry a mini grip or my valet, a true unassisted dividend would absolutely get back into my rotation

Kershaw if you're reading this, this is the way you need to keep going. Switch out your entire line with D2. I don't buy 8Cr knives anymore. D2 is my minimum. If brands like yourselves and CRKT go all D2 I'll be back buying your designs again. (P.S. if you update this knife, anodize the pivot blue. It will look supremely slick).

30 bucks for D2 is good. Over 50 for a steel that will rust if you dont baby it is not good. I have too many knives. D2 is a great steel but I have a sh!# tun of knives..

I understand your point but it's is not very discreet. Even Benchmade offers clips with no name or symbol... Just my two cents. That is why I don't carry Kershaws anymore
