Dude, I read your comment before hearing his laugh, thought it was funny, and then proceeded to watch the video.... And then I heard it. Felt like my soul left my body for a sec. Holy shit that caught me so off guard, especially after the quiet calm atmosphere and Tyler talking.
I gotta admit… one thing Kerwin is in the A-class of doing that not everybody might notice - he’s an incredible listener. Catches on every little detail and listens intently, no matter how small the detail may be. Would love to have him as a friend. I’d feel absolutely 100% heard.
I love the neurodivergence level in this video. 10/10. My ADHD self feels so comforted watching this, it’s just like the conversations I have with my pals 👯
bruh imagine having a teacher that looks at students like Tyler and instead of pushing them aside and watch them fail, embrace their creativity or make a compromise that allows them to engage and for the work to get done.
This ain’t awkward. I feel like they’re just chilling and having a real genuine conversation. No showing off or doing anything extra but actually talking. Definitely one of my favorite interviews
Totally - nardwuar goes above and beyond with the research, whereas it seems like kerwin kicks things off without a plan. But they weirdly have similar chaotic energy.
Fakieheelflips that’s LITERALLY the point bro. He has questions for days. Part of kerwin’s shit is this ISNT a normal interview. It’s Kerwin’s version. It’s supposed to be goofy and awkward
I got my adhd diagnosis late, at 22 - and I felt so seen when Tyler started spinning the chair ♥️ def the kind of annoying shit I do when I’ve just had enough and can’t control it anymore
YNG Martyr it’s Kerwins personality that makes it horrible but it’s also his amazing choice of questions to ask that make this a great interview. bc he doesn’t ask basic ass questions but he’s also so fricking awkward x his personality is very stoic LMAOOO
Damn, I legit cried when Tyler talked about the old man enjoying the root beer float, it just made me so happy 🥲🥲 I never thought he was a dick because of Colossus, I get being super stoked to meet your hero or idol, but you gotta read the room and let things be, it's just one of those things where you just gotta respect their boundaries.
kerwin interviews seem so genuine, like kerwin actually wants to know certain things about people and it’s not some bullshit questions for the internet
@@kilo1754 nah he better then eric andre , eric goes too far with it and ruins the interview, he actually has a convo and makes it awkward at certain times its hilarious
Stuntman Ted the comedy is better tho... no one who watches the Eric Andre show tunes in for a compelling interview they all just wanna watch the shit go down
That intro had to be inspired by him. That's how Eric does his intro to that show, although it's been a while so I'm going off my shitty memory. Same gray suit, suitcase or whatever the fuck, a mic and running wild on the street.
@@bigballahswag8839 No, I've seen the other one he does on the street. Or is it a video. Definitely in a grey suit and briefcase running around and even screams I think.
Premo not true, he handled it well but a bunch of times he was actually affected by kerwin’s awkwardness. Not present in most other interviews. I don’t understand how this dude got famous talking to people while he’s so embarrassingly bad about it. Godawful interview.
"People get upset when the narrative they made up doesn't come true - then they start pointing the finger at the person when they didn't even imply anything" Word
Willie Monroee they were literally playing the Moon River instrumental before the whole thang went down. And they teased it hard asf the whole fest, I was cool with Drake, but it’s a big ass cap to say they didn’t imply it would be Frank or to act like they didn’t know that there would be backlash if it wasn’t.
jamesasui - it’s definitely not for comedic purposes, at least not by kerwin. it genuinely seems like kerwin’s a bit socially awkward which is perfectly fine because it makes for an interesting interview.
Me an My sister loved igor she was a big Tyler fan. Like she put me on to him.She passed away right after it came out. I love Tyler now. I always come watch this video reminds me of her sense of humour
I slept on this dude for way too long. This kid is a genius. His passion for his art and his hunger are why his music is maturing. In the last few months I’ve gone back and listened to all his shit. It’s refreshing seeing somebody get lost in his art. Especially in a time of a dumbed down culture. Now I’ve played his shit out and waiting for his next project.
@@runawaymakefriendswiththem8905 i feel ya, but that's what a lot older kats do, & have done forever pretty much, some will call a younger person son/my son when they're not their actual child as well 🤷♂️
