Day 5. I finish the treatment on a higher dose. I give the play-by-play on how the treatment went. I evaluate the short term findings and speculate on my long term direction. I make a few observations on the treatment overall. There is honestly so much I could say, I am writer first and foremost but I wanted to reach an audience. If this helps one person, it will have been a success.
"Tous les jours à tous points de vue je vais de mieux en mieux" - Émile Coué
This is my Ketamine Infusion treatment being documented to help others who may be curious or have questions. I am a young mostly healthy male. The treatment was tailored as a form of pain management to treat dysfunction (central sensitisation & chronic spinal / nerve / back and neck pain) - not so much to treat depression or other mental health issues which I believe is a different dosage / duration. This took place in a clinical setting whereby I had 2 hours of treatment for five consecutive days (50, 100, 100, 100, 150).
This is not medical advice. I am not a doctor. Nor are you. One of the hardest barriers for healing was finding like minded people (particularly in my demographic) who found themselves in painful patterns. I wanted to discuss alternative forms of treatment and improve the discourse around how to get help and express our difficulty in managing day to day life in chronic pain and the mental toll compounding it.
