Hello. Cream of tartar is a powdered acid (specifically, a powdered form of tartaric acid). It’s a byproduct of winemaking (grape fermentation) that’s collected and purified. It’s on the insides of the wine vats and is collected after the vat is empty. So now you know! Love your channel. ❤❤❤

Nili’s “My best bread recipe yet” was a total game changer for me! I didn’t realize how much I missed sandwich bread until I tried hers. I use that recipe to make hotdog and hamburger buns. I almost cried at having a real hotdog on a bun!!!!!! It makes fantastic grilled cheese, hint, grill cheese on the outside of the bread to make it extra crispy!!!

I tried to whip powdered eggwhites with a hand mixer, 25 min. Clean, clean technique, no greasy anything. It was a no go. I’ve often whipped fresh whites to a firm peak with my hand mixer.

To avoid the “blow out” top make a deepish slice down the middle of the top of the loaf before placing in oven. Seems to prevent that most times!

I have made Indigo Nili's bread in many of it's forms. My favorite is the one with yeast and butter powder. That recipe makes great rolls!

You might want to look up Victoria's Keto Kitchen. She's made what she calls her Perfected Keto flour that she uses to replace regular flour. She just did a newer version that I still need to try out

I'm really glad that you made these Wes - I'm still watching your video, and I admire people who try to "perfect" PSMF breat - even though I personally do not like it. The only one i've half liked has been Indigo Nili's "butter bread" It was okay = but there are keto breads that are much much better. If I were trying to break a weight stall, etc. I'd consider throwing in a few days of PSMF with this type of bread - other than that - it's a solid no for me. I cannot get past the texture - it is like styrofoam, and most of the time is dry./chokie. TY though bc I truly appreciate every single video you do. I wish you would do some recipes using Victorias flour blend 2.0 with bamboo fiber - I have made some really really good bread using that flour blend. I've also made keto pastries, keto gravy (the sausage gravy was absolutely amazing)

Both "cream of tartar" and "dental tartar" are named after the Tartar people, as are tartar sauce and steak tartare. The Europeans saw the Tartars as hostile, savage, and violent, so they called various other things with those attributes after the Tartars. Cream of tartar is an acid that forms as a byproduct of wine-making. Because it tastes sour, it feels like it's attacking your mouth, hence violent, hence "tartar."

The issue with Maria's bread is that if you toast it, it becomes deeply inedbile - like chewing on a burnt foam mattress. It's not much better untoasted either. Maria is amazing in this community, and I thank her for inventing this bread, but I'm so glad people like Indigo have come along and perfected her creations so that eating psmf is more sustainable.

I want to try the Perfected recipe as written. Then I want a test to add a tsp of yeast to the batter to give it that bread flavor. I wouldn't add the yeast for functional rise, but rather as a flavoring to remind me of wheat bread. TY for the vid

Thank you for this. Just tried Marie's version for the first time and overcooked my first batch if buns and was hard fiam on the outside. Then I did a 2nd batch and tried a loaf and again came out looking like foam. Not bad tasting but the trxture bothers me a bit. Thought I was doing something wrong, but yiur came out the same. Thanks for the honest review. Guess Ill be making french toast for awhile. 😂😂😂 Ill try the other version after

Dental tartar (calculus) starts in your mouth as plaque which is made up of skin cells, bacteria and food. Whatever you leave behind with your toothbrush hardens onto your teeth when the minerals from your spit combine with the soft plaque and harden it. At this point, only a professional can remove it. Bristles will never remove it. Hope that helps. I am a Dental Hygienist😁

Have you ever tried Diedre's low carb bread? She only did 2 recipes (same recipe for breadmaker and for oven) on her channel and was chased away by cruel people. But her bread is so yummy and so like real bread. If you're interested, her channel is DiedresKitchen.

Thanks Wes for this video..I make Nili’s “Artisan Bread” recipe every week! Love it!❤ making burgers right now and both my daughter and husband want this bread instead of their “normal bread..they’re not keto.. I think Maria’s bread tastes like memory foam for sure..Nili’s recipe has fresh butter in it and it’s ssssooooooo good..try that recipe for yourself Wes you’ll love it..💯

I sliced it and stored in a gallon zip top bag (with a piece of paper towel on bottom) and I’m on day 3 and it is the same texture as when I first sliced it!

When I make my bread it always shrinks in on the sides. I am at elevation of 6700 feet. Do you think I should use more dried egg white powder. My current recipe calls for 1/3 cup along with one cup of egg whites from the carton.
