You went to Indonesian restaurant, all menu look new to me too except Bubur Ayam (chicken porridge)😂but it’s good because you learn and experienced something new and let us as Malaysian understand about Indonesian food..the diversity that makes Malaysia looked unique on its own way..Chow Kit normally similar to China Town in Petaling Street but I can consider Chow Kit more into Indonesian mini Town..nice to see you mingles with all of them, they looked so friendly😊😊

This area full of Indonesian. Their language a bit different from Malaysia but we can understand each other. They mostly say 'enak' instead of 'sedap' 😊

Indonesian restaurant with Indonesian food that serves plenty of Indonesian migrants here. The owner may be Malaysian Indonesian, but the workers are Indonesian migrants since unable to communicate even basic English.

That’s Indonesian food and not Malaysian food. Even the customers almost all Indonesian. So just imagine now you’re in Indonesia. Chowkit area there’s many indonesian citizen there😃 so you can eat their food origin there.

Hard to find locals in chow kit. I've been there. Their nasi lemak is the worst nasi lemak i've taste. Chow kit street kinda dirty. Lot of migrants from indonesia and bangladesh. Chow kit has lost its charm. 😅😢

@@badnotgoodsad but true! Sho had been misunderstood with variety of restaurant that looks like Malay but in fact, from the menu we're locals all know that was Indonesian foods. Sho & his team should go to all states especially in East Coast like Kelantan, Pahang & Terengganu that has offer authentic Malay foods.

Hi Chonmage Japan. You should try Mee Hailam since Sho likes wet Char Kway Teow. I think you'll like it. Also, any Ikan Bakar place should also be great for variety. You can try exotic seafood like stingrays (ikan pari) or horseshoe crabs (belangkas).

Hai guys...!!! Welcome to Indonesia.... 😂😂😂 Actually since there are so many foreigners in Malaysia, some of them also opening their own restaurants to provide foods for their people .... Hence, you can actually found foods from all over the world around Malaysia.... So if you happens to get bored of eating Char Koay Teow you can always try a lot of Thailand, Indonesian, Arabian, Korean, Japan, Pakistan, Western and nevertheless the local Malay, Chinese, Indian and other States of Malaysia foods.... FYI every state in Malaysia has their own special dish so you can always try to eat different kind of food everytime you go outside KL.... You just have to be adventurous to try new local food when you go there....

Next time go to Wan Suraya Restaurant in Kg Baru again...and try Nasi Kukus Ayam Goreng berempah...i think you never tried yet...and also Laksam if they have on the menu...remember try: - Nasi Kukus Ayam Goreng Berempah -Laksam (slightly different from laksa)
