The best fitness channel. Been following for over a year and my fitness level is through the roof. I started with 8 kg kettlebell and now I am ordering 28 kg.

You constantly blow my mind when you combine multiple KB fundamental exercises together to make functional movement flow pattern. Brilliant!!!!

Any plans to write a program for monster lifts? Like having e.g an eight week program of different monster lifts and nerdmath progression would be very nice to have. Just a suggestion of something I would buy.

I second this. I'm going through the 2H club program, wrapping up my final week. It's been fantastic and thanks to my adex club week be able to go through it again. But like you I'll be interested in a KB monster lifts program, as well as mace and hydrocore.

A normal windmill has legs as straight as possible for the person, but this seems to be done with bent knees -- a sort of half-squat-under-load movement... Question: Is that deliberate/Is there a specific reason for that, or can we do the 'normal' windmill with this? Should we? Or anything goes according to one's mobility? BTW, what a great exercise!!

Beyond a wholesome discipline be gentle with yourself. Push the envelope, carefully. Do what you can without injury. Be there, like meditation, focused mindful, completely present. Injuries you incur , must be treated conscientiously when they happen. Or they will return and haunt you the remainder of your life. Good luck.

Nerd Math for this? Do you program it similar to the TGU? Or is that a future video?

I plan to practice this tonight. I’ll do 12k and do 1/1 with an exchange in the middle as an emom. It will likely take about 25s and give 35s rest. Maybe 6 sets.

Thanks for getting back to KB's Mark. One question: I learned a windmill with straight legs. Hand slides down the leg to the ground. If you have the flexibility and strength to do this, do you condone?

Ahh. Eyes up = kb in the scapular plane w/proper spine & clavicle rotation. Now I get it. I always wondered why people looked up at their kettlebell.

This looks like an awesome exercise. Mark, does this movement need to be performed equally on both sides (arms) to be effective? I have a “lesser” right shoulder at the moment, and cannot really support that lateral bent press angle of internal rotation on the windmill. If I just do this with my left side, is that going to cause bad asymmetrical development and imbalances? Would that be true for TGU also?
@BennesonTenneson
@BennesonTenneson 2 года назад
I've seen him say multiple times in videos, when doing cross stabilization excercises (weight on one side) you have to do both sides equally.

Let me know if they ever come up with a treatment for arthrosis. Usually starts after sixty. Then you'll know what pain is. The Kettlebell is King, make what strength with it while you can. Good luck. (Arthrosis is the disintigration of the cartilage between the joints. Painful, very painful.) Cheers!

Mark, do you have a progression for someone who has difficulty to get all the way down with the windmill?
@suncard19
@suncard19 2 года назад
Can you get down without any weight?
@nandobreiter4075
@nandobreiter4075 2 года назад
@@suncard19 Easily. After trying it multiple times with no weight, most of the issue seems to be lack of shoulder flexibility and or the inability to squat while maintaining an erect torso. These 2 factors combined leaves my arm much too far out in front of me when I am down to be able to support much weight. Now I remember I have the same issue with the overhead press squat (don't remember the correct name for that), squatting with the bell overhead.
