This is exactly what I needed to know. The sequence of putting in the water, placing the cup, turn on power button, lift the lid; drop in pod, close lid then press large K button.. so glad I found you, as the paper instructions do not address this.
Wonderful Tutorial! My wife and I where baffled for weeks trying to figure out why our Universal Reusable Filter wasn’t sliding into the socket, but your video saved the day!! THANK YOU 🙏🏽
I found one at goodwill for 10 bucks and wasn't sure if it was broken or I was doing something wrong. But after the review I now know how to use it properly and it works great. What a steal!
Mine doesn't work if you do the steps backwards it shuts off like there's no water for safety , idk how it knows if I do the coffee or water first but it only works one way so far
I had the original mini Keurig for 8 years and loved it. I replaced it with a different unit with a reservoir but have decided that I don't like the idea of standing water. I like that what you put in is what you get out. I'm going to exchange it for this one! Thank you for the demo.
THANK YOU I literally exchanged mine bc I thought it was malfunctioning!! Now with the second one doing the same thing I realized that I must be operating incorrectly. You saved me!😂
I came to this video also because I think mine is malfunctioning🤔 seems like the first few times I used it, it worked fine but now it's starting to act up.
@@292teacher Hello, I recently started using my Keurig Mini, my only problem is...when I close the lid, it makes a big sound and i have to force down the lid, regardless of how I close it. So my question is, Does this happen to yours?
You are absolutely marveloussss, bought my first Keurig mini coffee machine, didn’t have instructions and couldn’t figure out how this machine work??? Thanks to yube tube I came upon your video and surprisingly you were clear and explained and your demonstration was outstanding. Thank you for simple clear and quick to the point presentation.
As a tea drinker & 1st time Keurig buyer I have this same model & color. I must say I luv my keurig!! I’ve used other larger, more ‘advanced’ models but this one is perfect for me & my small space & simple to use. I also like having the option of a 12oz where other models give you the largest size is 10oz. Your review was very thorough & it’s the first one where I learned I can brew a with special coffee filter & the drip tray comes out. I wish I came across this review first!
Louryn Strampe I was too lol. It’s my first time purchasing a mini Keurig coffee machine. I was reading the instructions and was a bit confused lol I didn’t wanna mess it up
I have this exact model (and color, so cute!) but today after a year of having it and minimally using it, the lever isn’t wanting to close properly, I have to use a lot of force and feel like I’m gonna break it. Anyone else have this happen or have any suggestions to fix it?!
@@ashleybynum4412 Mine requires quite a bit of force to close it. I wonder if there's hard water buildup inside your machine? I have to remove all of the inner pieces possible and soak them in vinegar once a month or so in order to keep mine working properly!
Louryn Strampe I didn’t mean to post my comment on your thread! So sorry to bug you about that lol. But I figured out it was a certain k cup (keurig brand Starbucks pike) but it will NOT close without being forced and the lever makes a popping sound when you do. Other k cups are perfect. I just press down on the offending k cup to poke the hole in the bottom myself and it closes fine after that. Strange it’s the real deal brand
You just saved me returning the My K-Cup! I didn’t know the internal default filter popped out. Thank you so much! The online user guide didn’t have that section (or I didn’t look hard enough.) Thanks again! :)
Thanks for this video! I think I'm so used to my full size Keurig and I was being impatient when hitting the Brew button and not getting an immediate coffee haha - I get how it works now thanks to your explanation :)
I like these little K-mini. I travel a lot on business, and Im bouncing in and out of hotel rooms all the time. Sometimes Im lucky enough to be staying in a room with a Kurig coffee machine in the rooms, but most of the time I am not. So my K-mini goes with me everywhere just in case. Light easy and can throw it in my suit case. I must have my peets coffee to go with it. Honestly Id probably leave my clothes at home before I left the K-mini and peets pods at home
Wow, I was given one if these with no box or directions. I'm SO glad I saw this video. I was using mine with a reusable K-cup. I NEVER KNEW THAT YOU CAN TAKE THAT INSERT OUT!!! Thank you. I made another cup because I was so excited!!! Thank you
Good review! It took me forever to figure out the My K-cup part. I want to point out that the reservoir is removable, at least it is on mine, the black one. But I think it's easier to bring water to the reservoir than try and carry the thing with water in it. Cheers!
Love the presentation. Im not a stupid guy but I needed to know just in case I missed something. Wonderful voice, clear, Concise and delivery speed was perfect. Respect
Great review, helped me out! I was going to do a demo on this today for my channel but unfortunately mine was a defect! Your review confirmed that it was indeed damaged as it was not working like yours at all. It kept sucking up water and spitting it out. Will have to return to this model at some point. Thanks for posting this video and Awesome Channel you have!!
THANK YOU for the concise, exceptionally well done summary!! I am new to Keurig brewing systems and even after reading the directions, you showed me a several tips that will assist and improve the use of this machine!
Thank you! I was going nuts trying to put in a reusable filter, it didn't say anything on the instructions about how to remove the original pod holder. Thank you again
Just purchased this on Amazon. I followed directions exactly wait two minutes and water is suppose to come out the first time which you pour in the sink but the water never came out! My first Kerrigan was bigger and lasted 11 years, this is very disappointing! Thanks for the demo, at least I know I did it right!
Great review. I like the mini, however, I think the mini plus offers just a little bit more especially the strong brew button and removable water chamber.
Thankyou for this demo! I’ve always used regular coffee pots but I’m going to college and I wanted a small, easy, quick way to make coffee. You covered any and all questions I had about this type of coffee maker!
For the life of me I couldn't figure out what arrows were suppose to line up and why the thingy for the ground coffee wasn't fitting in the thingy for the k-cup pod. Duh, it's not suppose to fit, I'm suppose to take it out. Thank you, thank you, thank you and more thanks !!
Thank you so much for this review, I was getting ready to return mine. It wasn't a Keurig error but operator error lol so different from my other Keurig. 🤗
Wow, super helpful. Thank you. I just ordered for my work, sharing with colleagues. I ordered this because it is small, won't take much space, dosen't have huge reservoir.
@@jamieleighjanssenxo Watch the video again! You can remove the brewing unit from the inside of the machine so the reusable cups fit in! I thought they didn't fit either, and had already bought 2 different reusable cups (with no success), but I didn't realize that I had to remove a section from inside until I watched this video! Look at the 1:38 min mark.
Thank you so much! I just got my keurig in the same color as you and the instructions were a bit confusing because this is my first keurig! You explained everything so clearly! Thanks so much! ❤️
I just got this machine from Fred Meyer (Kroger) for $69. It’s one sale till Sept 15 2020. Not bad for a machine I really didn’t need. I have a coffee maker, an espresso machine, a French press and now a Keuieg. I use it for iced coffee.
Very helpful! I usually only use mine to get hot water for my tea. Today I tried to make coffee and it was so watery smh ended up buying one anyway thank you!
I think you have to put less water in it because whatever water is in the reservoir at least 8oz will be in the cup if I’m understanding this correctly… I’m used to the full-size one where you can pick a 4 ounce stronger version - so I need to put less water in it… still trying to figure it out without wasting my coffee
I just bought the same exact as you, color and all. Lol I love mine! I just dont like how long it takes to make a cup of coffee from pouring in the water until it brews and fills into the cup. For me, it takes about 2 3 minutes. Doesnt sound long but it is when ur sitting there eating for a cup, Lol.. But if love the color, coffee taste great. I used Folgers..
that’s why i had to watch this vid i thought there was something wrong with mine. and sometimes i have to restart it and press the button multiple times. but it’s nice when it does work lol
I originally intended to purchase a K-Mini at Walmart, but I ended up choosing the Ultima Cosa espresso maker with an integrated grinder for just $259. Coffee bean are a lot cheaper than the K-cup.
Does the hot water come in contact with BPA free plastic? Also can u review on how to thoroughly clean it? I have seen where mold etc gets in the machine
We have to start our Keurig twice now before it starts working. I have done everything. I have cleaned it with a cleaner that I bought at target. I have cleaned the needles. I’ve done everything but it still doesn’t work the first time and we have to do it a second time by lifting the handle and running it again.
Excellent technical review. You being a consumer too, I'd like to hear your experience of it. Did it look or feel cheap? Would you recommend it to friends? Would you buy it again? Those kind of comments are what help guide my buying decisions.
I got one for my camper. We tried it at home 1st. I followed the directions. I thought it was too loud. I like my big Keurig. They have great customer support. But, not a fan of this one. I think it's over priced for what it does. I do like the fact it has an external reservoir. More portable/safer to store. and no water inside the unit.
This is a follow up. I gave mom this Keurig for Christmas. I made a numbered step-by-step instruction poster and it hangs above the Keurig. I taped matching numbers to each part of the machine. She loves it and tells everyone about it---repeatedly😉
This is $44 right now on Amazon! great steal! thanks for the review! Im gonna keep this in my school locker bcs i spend $2.95 per coffee. This will save me money if I make my own lol
So I bought this a few weeks ago, however I've been getting watery coffee no matter what I do. Is there any suggestions I can do to get my coffee tasting like a normal cup of coffee should be?
My problem too...and get this I'm NOT a coffee drinker!😏 I do but, it has to be(milkshakie)cold frappe from Starbucks🥰this just was a house warmer gift! And I came here to see if I was doing wrong?? Because of the water tasting coffee 😠🤢this my 2nd cup.🤔think I will go further then a youtube video.
Mine would drop over half an inch of clear, cool water into the mug as soon as the big K button was pushed, then brew the coffee, making the finished cup of coffee just barely warm.
Mexico coffe pods and buffalk soldier bob marley is amazing... And yemen coffee if u can find it yeraz. Or somethingband blue mountain jamican have these world can end ill be fine with it. . yay great coffee... World dont end. Id be sad face.
That was wonderful thank u sooo much I hate reading directions. Your an Angel this was a gift. I dont like these fancy machines im more of stove top lady but I said let me try it. Thanks
