Kevin Bacon returns to Payson High on prom night for 40th anniversary of ‘Footloose’ 

50 years later and he still looks like the coolest kid in the school. 👍🕶

This guy could literally be anywhere in the world doing something else. The fact that he chose to return the school for the students and for the fans just shows the kind of guy he really is!!

That's sweet of him to do that. He is a star but he's also a good person and cares about fans.

He oozes coolness. He is such a great example of loving his family, appreciating where he came from, and embracing life. Thank you for making an appearance of a lifetime. I am sure you made fans for life.

So cool! I loved that movie. I saw it in the 1980s, when I was 17, and am now 57. Before that movie, because of the church I was raised in, I thought I was terrible because I liked to dance around the rec room with music on. I wasn't allowed to go to any dances. I was so glad when "Ren", played by Kevin Bacon, quoted scripture in that movie, that said it was good to dance. It changed my life for the good. Was and still is my favourite movie. I still dance when I can, at a dance and around my apartment. It makes me happy.😊❤

What a great thing for him to do. It's a reunion 40 years in the making, especially since the school is going to be torn down. I'm glad he was available and made himself available to the Payson community since Footloose helped put him on the map for his future successes.

I've always liked Kevin Bacon's movies. He can play a bad guy as well as the good guy with such perfection, yet he's always cool, humble and awesome. It's hard to believe he was in Animal House, River Wild, Tremors, Sleepers. His range from comedy, musical, horror, action, drama, crime. His talent knows no boundaries, while being a loving husband and parent.

My Sister's nickname was "Footloose" because she mimicked the clothes and styles from the movie. Until the day my Uncle passed away in 2019 he called her by nothing else. I'm 46 now and I still remember watching Footloose at our Drive-in with my older sister and her friends. Can't get those feet still when that tune starts!
