Losing Kevin Conroy is horrible, i always considered his voice of batman as amazing as ever, I always loved hearing his voice in Justice league, and then hearing it in all of the batman arkham games i played, he will forever be missed.
They should just pull the trigger sign them a nice deal 3 seasons. They're getting older the market right now is dialed to nostalgia. I don't get a lot of these companies they have easy f-ing money! I have income and I want to spend it on things from before now. Same thing with Disney Plus what in gods name is keeping Kevin Feige from making X-Men TAS Season 6,7,8 (I like things in 3's) I mean sweet lord. It's just ridiculous to me go ahead go dammit put X-Men TAS action figures back on shelves do it!!! This is the decade that sucks like the 70s no one mentions it because the party ended in 69. We just have to live with it 2030 is going to be the shit though!!!
44:35 One year on from Kevin’s passing and hearing him and Mark taking about the endless possibilities and stories they could have read and performed, is just heartbreaking. I’m so happy I got to live at the same time as them performing these roles and grow up with them as my hero and villain respectively.
I like the subtle distinctions that Kevin makes in his tones. Bruce Wayne is authoritative yet softer, whereas Batman has a distinctive steel. So much nostalgia!
The respect they have for one another is beautiful. Easily why they are the best at they do. Wish we had more footage of them working together behind the scenes.
It's a lottery each time we set up. We always try for the best view and sound quality and are looking into recording and merging multiple video and audio recordings for the more requested panels.
I love Kevin's response to if they're done with there respective roles ! Nooooo !!!! Uh that's so good to hear ! Keep going you guys because you can rest assured we will never get tired you guys playing these iconic roles !
I started watch Batman the animated series when I was 7 years old back in 1992 and followed the other incarnations where the storyline continued to New Adventures of Batman/Superman, New Adventures of Batman Season 4, Batman Beyond, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited and Batman Beyond Return of The Joker. To me Return of the Joker was the precursor to an R-Rated animated film in my opinion. I loved the Jekyll and Hyde aspect for The Joker and also to me it felt like the Killing Joke.
Thank you for uploading this for us guys :) Mark is always a delight and Kevin is great. I admire them both, love their friendship and the respect they have for each other .
I know his Batman was evil in Crisis, but it was still cool to see Conroy play the part for real for once. Such a terrible shame we didn't get to see Mark Hamill accompany him as The Joker, while there was a perfect point that he could have fitted in.
@@lexofpower2822 Most importantly to me, looking at the behind the scenes, Kevin seemed to have fun doing it and I think that's what counts the most. And it was nice to see him thank Ruby Rose and Melissa Benoist on Twitter for being allowed to act alongside them.
@@timrob12 I am happy about that too it's just that I haven't really seen other stuff he's done besides Batman, although I did find a clip of him in Murphy Brown and he played a board member of a company and I immediately saw him as Bruce Wayne lol.
Batman: The Animated Series is honestly the best Batman adaptation ever. It had the best cast, the best direction, and most importantly, Batman actually had a moral code. There wasn't a single person that Batman ever killed, or used a gun on. (Dead Man taking over his body DOES NOT COUNT, because that was Justice League, not Batman: TAS)
@@johncrossing the tricky thing is that the penguin can be two really different things, a grotesque monster or a refined gentleman who is still willing to kill.. sometimes he's a monster _pretending_ to be a gentleman, but generally those are pretty different. in The Batman he's clearly a low-class guy who wants people to think he's classy, in Arkham he's obviously just a glorified thug, but in BTAS he's got a unique mixture in that he's a refined fellow cursed with a deformed appearance (until they retconned and/or cured it). Paul Williams really nails that feeling of a guy who needs to keep up his patter so you don't look at his weird flippers. I've heard some people say that that iteration of the character is still a faker, a wannabe, and that you can tell because of some malapropisms in his verbose speech, but if so, it's so subtle that it's terribly hard to notice.
There’ll be many Batman out there, but there’s only one true batman in the world. Unfortunately he’s not with us anymore. R.I.P. Kevin Conroy: The Real Dark Knight.
“I went in thinking there is no way they’d cast _Luke Skywalker_ as the Joker.” People said something similar about Michael Keaton as Batman, Mark. You should’ve known better. 😆
I have been a fan of Kevin Conroy since he starred on the CBS series "Tour of Duty" in its first season 1987. Unfortunately, his character of Captain Rusty Wallace got killed about half way in. Damn.
I don't know. After the Joker, Firelord Ozaei might be his greatest villain performance yet. It's totally divorced of the Joker. It's much more powerful and dark. So much more authority, which the character calls for. It's just something in Ozai's voice that creeps the hell out of me.
I loved when Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill returned voicing different characters but still playing the Good guy and bad Guy. In this case it was Dick Grayson's and Tony Zuco in The Batman (2004).
Mahn Mark Hamill had such a glorious life played iconic Luke skywalker and Joker, Kevin conroy made my childhood great ❤️ nobody can breach the bars these guys have set
The greatest accomplishment of the Batman animated series, is how “Heart of Ice” fundamentally changed Me Freeze’s backstory, and it’s been used in other media ever since.
Its really sad since kevin's passing,Mark Hamill retired from joker because of "without batman crime has no punchline"meaning if conroy isnt there he cant play joker without his batman.. at 43:56
Am I the only one annoyed by that guy swinging the lightsaber. Ye, its Mark hamill, but with Kevin up there, it makes it Batman and Joker. Not Batman and Like Skywalker. ( not that I'm saying that a Batman and Like Skywalker would be a bad movie though :) )
I'm not saying the people in the back need to shut up, but I think the speaker or camera picks up too much excess sounds. Like maybe they need to move the camera or something
there are two great tragedies in the world: that voiceover sessions are not recorded for us all to enjoy, the outtakes, the improvisation, the corpsing and that convention interviews are, at best, recorded in poor quality.
