Kevin Costner gives an emotional tribute to production designer Ida Random, recipient of a lifetime achievement award at the 2022 Art Directors Guild Awards.
Kevin Costner first met Ida Random when she was an art director on one of his first films, Frances. He credits Ida with helping get his first speaking line in a film and his SAG card.
They went on to work together on Silverado, Wyatt Earp, and The Postman.
