kevin still has higher number of chances created conpared to both him and kroos, he's certainly more impactful if you're using the correct metrics

yeah, that's what happens when you compare solely on stats, especially two players who play different positions and roles. Modric with less goals and assists, is still far far greater a player than Kdb probably will ever be. Kdb has been called the best midfielder in the world for 5+ years and Man City the best team in the world for same time, yet, couldn't win one ucl. Modric has won 4 in that time while being a key player in each win. Kdb is a classic cam while Modric is a box to box central midfielder. But imagine, Modric is so good as a box to box, that for more than half a decade, Madrid hasn't felt the need to have a proper attacking midfielder in their squad, James was the last proper attacking mid and even he never really made a permanent place in the starting 11 and certainly never came even remotely close to replacing Modric as a more attacking option, Modric's work might not show up in stats as much as it does for a more attacking mid but what he does from down the pitch makes him an all time great. Modric has a far far inferior national team than Kdb and even then has grossly outperformed Kdb, taking Croatia to WC finals while winning the golden ball too

Modric is more like Central midfielder, sometimes Defensive Midfielder too, Kevin is more like Attacking Midfielder. People can't really see Modric's work since his pass is almost like second or third assist, since people only count assist as anybody who pass ball to the scorer. Player who play forward position or Attacking tend to got more assist and goal. for example CRonaldo(most assist and goal in history) , Messi, Pele ,etc . Defender the least goal and assist. Modric isn't at Attacking role, but Kevin Is.. But really both are flawless Players

Modric is supposedly better because his team happens to win the Championships league, I’m referring to individual performances so the championships league win is irrelevant. Individual stats are paramount, de bruyne absolutely clears him in that facet, astronomically. Also, Real Madrid’s performance levels are laughable compared to even teams like psg who consistently outplayed them last year, they only won because they happened to outscore them and due to terrible officiating which was costly, so even that championships league win is undeserved on multiple levels, the proof is there. City outplayed them as well, and have beaten them 3 out of 4 times in the last matches. That’s right, madrid with the best midfielder luka modric, in a h2h, has only 1 one win against the champions and they only got it, because de bruyne was subbed off. Stop overstating his abilities.
