Kevin is one of the best vocalist in rock history, his voice is powerful and amazing

Many years ago I came across Kevin in a Lee's Liquor in Las Vegas. It was late at night and he strutted in looking like a rock star. I remembered I nodded to him. He looked at me and smiled without saying a word. It was a few months later that he passed. These videos of DuBrow really show him as a nice and articulate guy.

We miss you Kevin. I hope you're finally with your dear friend Randy Rhoads and rockin' the Heavens !

I went to a Quiet Riot show in the 90s. Because of a problem with the contract they couldn't play. The band came out to the lobby and were apologizing & signing autographs. They were all very nice and Kevin was great to talk to. I never did see them play live, though.

He is right about loudest band I saw Riot 4 times and my ears rang for days

Jesus...In Vegas. talks about John Entwisle being at his house joking about cocaine. Entwisle died in Vegas--cocaine overdose . Kevin dies at his own house in Vegas (the one he mentioned about Entwisle being at)--of a cocaine overdose . Heavy.

I just keep thinking why he had to die so early,, he could still be here today, damn. :(

I got into Quiet Riot at 14, 1983. I followed them through the 80's. All the lineup changes. I thought they were doing a VH thing getting rid of Kevin Dubrow and getting Paul Shortino. Great album QR 1988 is. I saw Quiet Riot twice in 1994; both club dates. Very Loud but clear. Decent shows. RIP Kevin. Gone too soon. Great frontman.

Always thought in your fifties drugs were kidstuff...an extreme crazy user I quit in 1978 @ 23 yrs and nine yr smoker ( 2 pks a day) same time and almost died anyway! The withdrawal was close to suicide don't do a combo! But I still think it's kidstuff, I understand your need of stage presence and youth as age creeps up but Kevin, right after Thanksgiving dinner?I used to listen to your radio rock programs when I was living in Vegas way before your death. Thanks for keeping the Metal train steaming forward through the 90's rise of crappy radio of bands that didn't know how to play lead guitar!!!So the industry's excuse to it was that lead guitar wasnt cool anymore.ha-ha scoundrels!

roger taylor isnt half the singer kevin dubrow was. id take kevin dubrow over freddie mercury anyday. hell id take quiet riot over queen. QR had 4 awesome albums with no real fillers. queen has like what? half that not even?
