Shams Charania reported that Kevin Durant requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. General Manager Sean Marks is working with KD and his business manager on a trade. The veteran forward reportedly has the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat on his wish list. Let’s be honest here... the only reason KD left Golden State was because he was förced out... Period. KD was förced out of Golden State by the NBA front office, using the spörts mëdia tälking heäds. They insülted him every day on all their shows, repeating the same ignörant talking points about how weak he was. How he needed to win championship as the leader of the ream… and all the other nönsense they repeated daily. KD recëived deäth thrëats and the NBA front office told him not to go public with that in fear that it may encourage copy-cats. Of course, that worked in their favor because no one would know the real reason why he was leaving Golden State. Why? The NBA Frönt öffice was concern that with KD in Golden State, Lëbrön had no chance of winning another Championship and they just weren’t having that. The feign with Draymond was the public reason to exit, but he was in-fact förced out.

Pretty sure Warriors don’t want KD. Especially because Curry is about HIS legacy now and knows that KD will get those Finals MVPs because teams game plan around Curry and allow KD to play 1 on 1. The marriage analogy is perfect. An old saying came to mind, when a friend has been married and divorced multiple times constantly blaming others for the marriage failure, what's the common denominator? The common denominator in each situation is the problem. Same person in multiple marriages = same result, divorce. That's KD. It also goes back to the point that KD needed the Warriors more than the Warriors needed him. With that being said, looking at KD's top choices for a trade, he's definitely all about getting a ring RIGHT NOW. He doesn't care about doing it leading his own team. KD just wants another ring. He's a mercenary. I'm sure GS winning it all, beating the team that swept Durant's Nets in the first round, with Steph getting Finals MVP has NOTHING to do with KD's current motivation though.

Y’all reading it wrong. When the Nets wouldn’t give Kyrie a long term deal, and forced Kyrie to opt into the last year of his contract, KD and Kyrie knew the Nets would trade Kyrie. Nets ain’t letting Kyrie walk for free next year, they had to trade him THIS year to get value back. Knowing that, KD ain’t gonna stay in Brooklyn alone with an injured Ben Simmons, so Durant smartly asked for a trade. That simple.

The one thing I didn't understand with KD teaming up with Kyrie is that nobody has ever questioned KD's commitment to the game or to improving. KD's always had a reputation as a true "gym rat" that puts in the work and yet, he wanted to team of with a guy that's amazingly gifted and talented, has never seemed all that resolute about being a basketball first kinda cat.
