“I could walk on water right now but a hater will say it’s cause I can’t swim” Kevin dropping gems whatever you do they’ll always find a way to hate you
Kevin knows when to talk, and when to listen. Mad respect, I didn’t even know about this interview until today, Mike and Kevin both have helped me with my aggression problems. Much to learn from these men.
I honestly I think it's because he's around Mike Tyson he's being very careful cuz Mike is crazy and or will knock him out so he's been very proper lol 😅 but idk
Wrong. He seemed so young minded still, lost and unsure about alot. He's been blessed though in his life and he can't help but to notice. Maturity will come but he's nowhere near Mike and Henry isn't really a deep minded individual, he's more good hearted happy go lucky lol. All three likeable guys though.
When he said "we just love the land" my mouth dropped. He is so genuine and so much of what we need more of in this shallow world we are living in. We need more people to love each other and especially love the land.
That’s one of the truest and most humble things I’ve heard especially from someone who is famous. “ I don’t need 50 bodyguards, because I know how to stand up and greet another man when he walks in the room” -Kevin Gates
Two of the realest dudes who are commonly the centers of attention in any room... together, face to face at the same time...What a privilege to witness such an intense experience. Big salute, love and respect to both, Tyson and Gates. 👑👑
Lmao realistically no they are fake as fck ,they're rich the personal they have is fabricated and perverted they are far from real they are getting paid to act the way they do
I love how different kevin is in Mike's presence. He always talks about how to respect when respects due in his music but he really shows it here. My favorite fighter and musician that are alive today sitting down is amazing to watch.
@Ace nyc baby! di angelo Kevin Gates was not in fear he wasn’t even intimidated like other guests are He’s gangsta fr you can tell he has the soul of a warrior at least in my eyes thats what I see
Kevin was ready to unpack some deep thoughts and emotions during this interview and they missed the opportunity . I wanted to hear him expand on some topics and they just skipped over them with another silly question.
These podcasts are more about Mike than the People they invite.. Lame as hell, Mike really just wants to tell his Storys he dont care about the People he interviews
You could tell mike was relating to the incident Kevin shared, but mike hid it in a way that he didnt wanna continue on it. We all know Mike gets mad when he’s uncomfortable
"That shit is depressing. If I compare my real life to their highlight reel." That part. I don't think people realize how much damage long term use of Social Media can do. Kevin really looks at peace. Happy for this brother. This was a great episode.
I've been telling people that for years. But most of the time it goes over their head. Your comparing 6 seconds of someone's life to your full 24hrs in a day.
@@j.r.griffith THAT PART!! I am on a fast from social media at the moment. Just fasting and focusing on Jesus and myself. And I don't miss it. Social Media can really take you down a rabbit hole.
So proud of Kevin man, the way he handles himself in this interview, dude is on a whole nother level, I know everyone disappointed on how they interviewed Kevin, but it wouldn’t be easy to interview someone like Kevin, man is intellectually, spiritually, emotionally sound. Dude is content, I hope one day I can come close to that
@@martinturnaki9054 Not everyone talks like that especially nowadays especially coming from a rapper which is why he made that comment I’m pretty sure it was obvious though you just have to be that person
Props to you Kevin Gates I know you'll probably never ever ever see this so it doesn't matter but it takes a big ass man to come out and say that like that you were abused as a child but not only that you were mentally tortured from it and then you turned into something positive after you grew as a person/man/father. I'm sorry it happened to you
I love how Kevin was able to read the room and act accordingly. What was even more amazing is how even though this interview didn’t go how we all expected or at least I expected, Kevin was still able to find some value. I think Mike may have exposed a few things in his own life, maybe needed clarity on a few things however, seeds were definitely planted. They both still have extremely beautiful minds.
Something about Gates, has a special vibe and charisma surrounding him. It's refreshing to see a street guy who started at the bottom witnessing all the evil and poverty, struggling to survive and provide. Still he speaks with intellect and knowledge. 💯🇬🇧
Ey put some respect on that co host lol he a double champ in the ufc. He may not understand kevin gates but u can be damn sure he understands the fighter mentality and tyson as well as anybody. Theres a reason Mike's had him on so often.
Henry messed the interview up not gonna lie Kevin was real into talking on a different level but he kept on cutting Kevin off asking Mike all these questions that weren’t relevant at all, they both could’ve been better if they did more research. Looked forward to this one but it could’ve been entirely better
I agree wit both y’all. I honestly ain’t watched hotboxin a lot but it don’t take much to realize triple c really interviewed mike and mike interrupted gates often …
I agree with all of y’all but mike needs to find a new co host Henry fucking sucks asking such stupid ass questions that were completely off topic I’m like Kevin just said he likes to do shit by himself then Henry dumb ass so Kevin you like to roll solo like wtf 😳 bruh henry was fucking up the whole vibe of the interview for me 🤦♂️
Kevin’s the only human that’s able to put feelings into words that resonate with me. This mans mind is different and he’s far too underrated…now more than ever!
This interview is Gold....but I can't help but give Kevin his respect for answering Tyson with "Yes Sir" each time he answers his questions or addresses him....this ppl is his raw truth of character 🙏🎯❤
That’s how he is with all his interviews. I never knew the guy and thanks to this podcast I watched all his interviews and fell in love with his humbleness
Its called Southern Hospitality. Saying Sir and Ma'am is a way of showing respect for your elders. Be surprised what doors can open just by saying those two words
@Pete rice That shit happened years ago, as she tried to pull him. I’m not saying he a saint, he has done time and did his fair share of dirt in his earlier years. I have nothing but respect for his humble yet assertive demeanor, that he has developed over the past years. A very special, intelligent and wise man despite his age. I enjoy listening to him and he always has a positive message in every interview i have seen with him.
This interview had some gems from Mike and Kevin.. Watching Kevin grow since he hit the rap game has been amazing, he ain't lying when he said he's on the right path after soul searching..
This is my first time watching and that was hands-down one of the most epic conversations I’ve had the privilege of being a part of. Absolutely fell in love with your spirits and the collective vibe. Are used to be the Ellison in wonderland of mushrooms in high school taking people on visual trips the last I saw Mike Tyson was on his Nintendo game we had growing up I never realized what a truly beautiful soul he is the merged with my current Kevin gates discovery just intensifies it and the other guy just brought it together And kept the conversation flowing in a positive intriguing way
I echo your thoughts and I truly stumbled on this podcast episode. My level of inspiration for everyone who participated in this episode especially Mike Tyson. His transformation and the example he is continues to leave such a legacy notably in the black male culture.
Mike is such a humble person. I ran into him once in Las Vegas on the strip in a candy store and he was kind enough to take a pic with me. Kevin Gates is such calm soul. I’d love to sit down and talk to him.
Kevin Gates is a spiritual learner you could tell those are the conversations he was itching to get into with Mike. I hope they get to dive deeper sometime good interview 💯
I think Mike was too high to give Kevin that spiritual talk he wanted. Kevin was probably a little disappointed that’s why he brought it up. After they fired the first co-host the spiritual stuff calmed down a little. That was probably by design by the powers behind the show. I think Kevin recognized it. He’s a very aware brother. But it was still a decent interview and I think Mike was opening up at the end but they ran out of time. I love seeing the growth of Kevin Gates.
I posted something similar to this effect. They've lost the deep dive & exploration of life. But it's OK to laugh & be high? The co host sucks , really has no spiritual influence..
Yup bro u can see he was irritated like 2-3 mins into the interview he was ignoring certain questions i caught it also but he’s an Aquarius♒️ so he caught on quickly 💯
Kevin was disappointed because he wanted to talk about spiritual things, insecurities, life, death he wanted deep conversations with Mike. Unfortunately the last co host was good at getting mike to open up on a deep level. Last co host brought the best out in mike. I don't know why he not there anymore. If he was there interview would of went better. He was good at listening to mike and getting mike to opening up to certain guest. Who was similar to mike. They need a part 2 on a deeper level.
Yeah you can clearly see Kevin was disappointed, how many times did he bring up "this didn't go how I was expecting". Multiple times he brought it up. With the new co-host, there's no connection. And Mike eating all those mushrooms you could see the disappointment from Kevin it's like Mike was more interested in eating shrooms. Could have been so much better.
Kevin Gates is on a whole different level when it comes to maturity. When he mentioned being molested, and that was the first time he's ever said anything about it in any interview or anywhere period, they didn't even seem to care one bit. This show doesn't even deserve to have someone like Kevin Gates on it
What you want them to do, run and hug on him chill dude, thousands of people are molested we understand how fucked up it is but the reason kevin even spoke on it is because he healed
Damn I wish we had someone there that an actually fan of Kevin Gates. Everything he speaking about now, he being talking about since his first albums when he was living in his hometown
@@nawfsidefasho Kevin's goofish, look at him and his feathers, cousin smashing clown. He was normal back in the day when he had dreads, guy is bi polar or sumthing, thinks he's more gangster than he is, he's just regular ass human like the rest of us listen how he talks fuckn weirdo
I believe when Gates said he didn’t expect the interview to go like this… it’s basically him saying he thought Mike Tyson was more enlightened and the conversation would get deep, but instead Mike is just high and talking stupid. & I hate how the other guy keep asking Mike questions like Kevin isn’t the guess. Disappointed man
@Adrian Cantu what's that have to do with the energy in the room? Lmao and I'd definitely say kevin gates is worth more in terms of net worth, energy and insight. He has over a billion view just for 1 album. And he has several albums and his own record label lol
This is probably the most respected podcast out there. I can’t even fathom how you changed my life mike. To maintain discipline throughout life and over come adversities and be happy is what my life consists of till god takes me away.
I love the fact that they both celebrate family! In spite of the dilemma of confusion/delusions they both suffer from I respect any man who celebrates and provides for their family
Kevin is so beautiful and pure. His music is great but him as a being, is just beautiful. His soul , his aura, I have yet to see an artist as open and honest and just as raw as he is. When he said he was naked , I don’t think they fully comprehended what he was saying. He is truly loving in his truth. What would be perceived as flaws to others he is starting to or is embracing. He is a healer. A true healer because he is able to show his wounds no matter how deep and show the world that you can still heal from it.
He’s embracing his insecurities! And we all have them. Different ones but we all have em. All of us don’t embrace em! he does. I do! I haven’t been molested but I embrace my insecurities head on an thru that process I fall in love with myself over & over again. Experience is non transferable! Love & Positive Vibrations.
@@Stillwavytho agreed beloved. I remember earlier I was playing out in my head how everyone is just trying to hide. You can’t truly connect to people anymore because everyone is afraid of who they are. They are not hiding from you, they are hiding from themselves and if I’m hiding and you are hiding then no one is finding anything but the masks that we all wear. But anyway, Many blessings to you on your journey. ♥️♥️♥️
What a great podcast, thank you to everyone and may your message of peace and prosperity through community affect a positive change anywhere and everywhere it’s needed 🙏💯
Kevin was really bringing up some interesting topics and Mike and Henry just disregarded all of it. I would have liked to hear more about Kevin. Good on him for rolling with the interview, but Henry was way to interested in what Mike had to say.
Yea i agree. I almost stopped mid way through because Henry kept talking to Mike. It doesn’t even feel like they asked Kevin many questions. There were a lot of awkward pauses as well.
I think he was nervous (I really wanna say scared) there was an energy thT wasn’t “Flow” coming from him and ThTs why he wouldn’t just ask gates whatever it was he truly wanted to ask. My opinion.
Kevin Gates energy is so real. I’ll never forget running into him on a mountain in California. It’s like he floated towards me. Sounds crazy but I’m so serious.
@@itsmike9227 Not at all. I was actually looking at his energy more as a person over a celebrity. He seemed to have been more focused on the now unlike the other 100 celebrities I have worked with. His energy just seemed more focused.
@Deandre GeorgeI'm just sayin he doesn't care what people think about him. TBH, the feathers was off-putting to me. You are right, I don't know his networth, but he is a celeb and It takes money to travel.
Lol never in your life? They’re not that out of this world surprising. The comment makes sense for when Meryl streep and Kim jung un come on in a few years….
Love this interview. I look at mike as a modern day martial arts master and he’s here interviewing a young warrior. Enjoy mike while he’s still here. His legacy will be endless and we are witness to it unfolding before us.
This whole interview made me smile and truly connect with Kevin and Mike. I literally talk to myself all the time and walk through scenarios about how I want to see things go. Manifesting shit is also a part of my everyday life as well.
"If you can walk amongst king's and not lose commoners touch you will be a man my son" damn that was the hardest line I've ever heard. Story of my life 🤴 👑 🦁
Kevin handled himself very well. It’s a shame that Mike was not able to connect in true essence. Love Mike and his warrior mentality back in the days, but this interview would have been so much better if he was sober for three months beforehand.
It's ALL about the last 15 minutes. Kevin: "All things in moderation." Mike: "Some things you can't do in moderation! Kevin: "Like what?" Mike: "Heroin!" 💯🙌🏾 #Education #lessons #Teacher #wisdom #confidence #humble
Everything Kevin was saying Mike was saying Kevin said he have camels Mike said I have horses in such a envious way Kevin Gates so authentic and people can’t really admit his greatness within himself.
This is one of the most enjoyable Tyson episodes I've ever watched. And alot had to do with the co-host. He adds the perfect energy to Tyson. Perfect. PS. How the f**k did nobody acknowledge the feathers? 🪶🪶🪶
That ending was amazing lol… Mike is on Mount Olympus! This was actually a more enjoyable interview. Mike didn’t interrupt the guest or speak over him. He allow Kevin to fully express his thoughts. Great one!
Interesting dude. I always felt like there's some kind of pain in his voice when he raps. A deep and painful backstory behind all of the bars. One of the greatest voices in the rap game imo.
I lost my sons mom two years ago to a car accident and I remember seeing this random video of Gates talking about how he lost this girl he loved due to a car accident as well. And the way he felt guilty as in he felt like it was his fault due to the situations going on before the accident, I feel the exact same way & I never thought I’d see somebody going through that especially one of your favorite artist
I’m sorry to hear that brother, God is looking over her Soul, Keep Fightin, keep Striving to be a better version of yourself than the day before, I hope Everything Gets better man, stay strong to look over your Loved ones
Henry isn’t a fan boy he knows how to deescalate Mike. I respect for Kevin Gates. He’s got mad respect for Tyson and is obviously stronger emotionally. People expect Mike to be something different but he is who he is and is trying not to let that anger out.
🤣🤣 I went to the comment section to see if anyone else caught that, and surprisingly no one did aside from you and me. Mike definitely slipped that slick remark in, with a smirk on his face. I laughed so hard🤣🤣
