dolo gates tells ppl how he cries, last time I checked, that's one thing you never hear rappers say or talk about. I grew up in a time when telling the truth was being soft and crying was an emotion only females could express.... needless to say he took every stereotype there was about being a gangsta and put it it on its backside! he's one of the most complete rappers out there and he contradicted everything about being hard, he's in a league of his own for that.

He reminds me of Lil Wayne from the 2007-2010 era. Spits straight fire like that, but he's so much more lyrical and intelligent. Gates is too dope, and he really doesn't get tired. These pussy rappers take two years between albums and each is more mediocre than the other. Meanwhile, Gates drops tracks every 6 and a half days and each is more fire than the other. #IDGT
What I like about his tracks are that so many of them connect to one another. Kinda like shot outs of his different songs. He's created his own rap vocabulary, his own style and it's one of the best at present

Dear audience, I feel compelled to state that this young gentleman is a very talented poet and recites verses with brilliant speed and rhythm, over an invigorating melody, however some of the lyrics seem slightly laced with hateful implications and with a partially crude manor about them.
