so crazy to see this! i met troy at work following the fire - i work at the target here in our home town and he was looking around for a hot plate he and the boys could use as a stove while they lived in the motel. so glad to see he and the boys got some help.
Wow- A crazy tough situation that this man and his boys have been through. 😢 Amazing to hear how his community has stepped in to help... and wonderful to see what the KC show had arranged for this family... just as touching to see KH pony up his own money for a family in need. ❤️ (LO❤️E KH) ❤️ These are the kinds of stories we all need to hear and see right now. There IS still good in this world. ❤️
@@troygaskin192 How great is that? I hope you are all doing a bit better. You are a wonderful family...always stick together. Hard times are tough, and every person has had their own. Just remember, each individual deals with difficult hardships differently, and your boys will as well. Be patient. Your boys need to grieve all of their losses, and they must secretly fear they will lose their father as well, due to your medical issues. Try to have time alone doing something fun with each individual boy, they each need to have 'dad time' alone with you.
It was nice the dad mentioned many who donate are those that have a hard time themselves. I’ve worked in fundraising and it is the small but reliable donations from regular folks that keep most charities and communities going. A little bit really adds up. You don’t have to have 50 grand hanging around to make a difference.
This was my cousin Troy, Unfortunately he passed away a couple weeks ago. It’s heartbreaking his 4 kids no longer have a dad. Troy Gaskin will be truly missed. Love you cuz!!!
I remember getting Facebook notifications about these guys. They are in my area and the community really has stepped up like he’s saying so I am so glad they and gifting them with this. That’s awesome.
More people who've done well in life, need to do the same, great job Mr Hart! Please keep helping and try to convince some of your successful friends to do the same.

Reminds me of my dad... back to back heart attacks trying to raise 4 kids on his own while having to pay monthly to his ex-wife for over 20 years and still to this day. There are some amazing parents out there that will do anything for their kids.

Wow $100,000 to a well deserved single dad. I can't begin to imagine what he has gone through. 2 back to back heart attacks is scary for him to survive both and to be sitting there with his boys today is nothing short of a miracle. Such a heartwarming story.
Did they miss the part where he said that one of his boys has autism??? He is definitely a super dad!! Raising a child with autism is a stressful parental duty within itself, much less to raise other kids as well.. 🧩🙌

think why Kevin didn't give the money during the segment was because how his bank account is set up. He's has a checking and a saving, but all his money is in the saving. He needed to make sure that money would come through. 😉 love that guy! And what a great dad!

I was homeless two years ago and just moved into a house. No help at all but like Kelly said it takes who is by u to get through it together! I have a hubby and four kiddos as well. Covid hit and the struggle sucked to be honest. God is good in everyway
