Kevin Hart's Short-Lived Forgotten ABC Sitcom, Seen For The First Time on RU-vid!
Kevin is a rich kid from Malibu. He has it all, a great house and money. But one day his dad, who is also Kevin's manager, is arrested for embezzling millions of dollars from his clients. Later his family from Philadelphia welcomes Kevin to live with them to start a new life. When he moves into "The Big House" he is forced to live in the basement.

There's hundreds of shows we'll never see. Every year Networks shoot a bunch of shows and then the networks pick the ones they like the most. Kevin's show was chosen to go on air but the network changed their mind at the last minute.

Heard about this show from Hart's book - so damn funny the way he explains it all! He said how he wanted to base the idea off of his own family, but that it would've seemed too much like Fresh Prince. So they ended up spinning it where the rich kid Kev went to Philly to live with his poor relatives. Can't wait to watch this

This came out in 2004 and only lasted 6 episodes. Competition must have been FIERCE back then!!! This show is pretty funny and in today's market, it would be a runaway hit even without Kevin's big name of today.

I think it's unfair to dismiss him as a plant like Kat said. He was legit grinding on the East Coast hard and probably caught a break at the time but it went no where at the time for obvious reasons. Kevin needed more work. He def had people in his corner trying to make his star happen though so i guess that's where the plant argument happens which makes sense
