I never understood Kevin Heart's meteoric rise cuz I always thought his comedy was corny and safe. Thought the same about Tiffany Haddish and her meteoric rise, so Kat's words ring true to me.

Filing a Defamation Lawsuit is easy to threaten and file, but very difficult to win! For a defamation suit to be successful false and vicious information must be proven in a civil court. Thus, if Katt said Kevin wore a dress to advance his career it is proven that he received more movie deals and earned more money than he had previously before wearing the dress. The actions of the accusers are not defamatory, but factual! This is why we often hear "I am going to sue for defamation", yet the case never goes to trial. Also, once that door is open, the adversarial party can demand private information for their defense, thus it can be very embarrassing for the one suing because they thought someone defamed them! Trust me, Katt knows this, and this is why he is not afraid of the lawsuit threats!

I was living in Hollywood during the years referenced by Mr. Micah Williams in regards to Kevin Darnell Hart. Mr,. Hart was NOT a presence in the stand up comedy scene in Hollywood (The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory etc), nor was he a big well-known draw or 'high card' in that scene. Mr. Williams had a forceful presence in that scene immediately after his his role as Money Mike in Friday After Next ...for 10 straight years. The man was everywhere. Hart was nowhere, but suddenly appeared after a mediocre performance in Soul Plane and in every similar formulaic film afterward for the same period of time.

I used to like Kevin, but I always felt something was off and unauthentic. Now I know why. Kat is an OG and has raw talent. That fact Kevin would insult him in any capacity or even be defensive about what Kat said makes me lose all respect for him.
