Wow, Tony 😭 We will miss you Kevin, "Where Did He Come From, The Closer, Happy" Harvick. 🥰

I'm 36 and crying....this guy has been my racing life since the ac Delco car ....I knew this day would come and it hurts. Proud of everything he accomplished but don't know where I go from here. Nascar doesn't have any more great personalities anymore.

I can say, that even as a Gordon fan, I loved watching his first win, it was a healing moment we all needed. He earned a fan that day...he earned many fans that day and throughout his Hall of Fame worthy career, and will be missed.

I was always a Stewart fan. But I always admired Harvick. The two of them are so similar. They race like hell, aren't afraid to call people out, and take no crap from anybody. After Stewart retired I knew I was going to pull for Harvick. Now that Harvick is retiring though, IDK who I'm going to pull for. But if his kids get to Cup racing and they're anything like their pop, they'll have me in their corner.

Man I gotta say, I'ma miss Harvick. I love his personality and the experience he brings to the sport. One of the 2018 big 3 Harvick was, and always will be, a legendary driver

60 Cup wins, including all 4 crown jewel races. The Daytona 500, 2 Coca Cola 600 wins, Southern 500, and the Brickyard 400. Two time Xfinity, Busch Series champion at the time (2001,2006). Even had an Xfinity Series team and Truck Series team from I believe 2008-2013. Even won 2 Truck Series championships with Ron Hornaday in 2007 and 2009. Definitely a hall of famer to come. I may not he a fan of his, but I have major respect for his badass mentality and his determination to win. A mindset everyone should have. Not just in racing, or any sport, but in life. Best of luck in your final season. I'll always remember you for the number 29 car with the pennzoil and Budweiser sponsor.

Gosh I have dreaded the day he would hang up his helmet 😢, but after the direction NASCAR is going and Kevin’s comments last year about his frustration I knew this was coming. I was fortunate enough to meet him in person and he was my favorite driver after Dale died. Kevin you will be missed! ❤❤

Kevin Harvick has been my favorite driver ever since I started watching NASCAR, which was years ago, and I knew at some point he was going to retire and now 2023 will be his last season. Hope he finishes his last season strong!

Jr was my number 1 for sentimental reasons. Harvick was my number 2 because of how he carried himself and was able to figure out a way to win when others wouldn’t have. He’s the last bridge to the Winston cup. I will miss him.

Harvick is a damn legend!

Kevin became my favorite driver when I was 11 after Dale Sr for obvious reasons, but he would have ended up being my favorite anyways. It always been fun watching his racecraft and seeing how he always gets more than 100% out his car, and then you have the entertaining part of him that all of us love. Even though his stats are stacked, I believe he's still one of the most underrated drivers out there, and would have had multiple Winston Cup titles. Thanks for all the years, Kevin. I look forward to seeing what y'all do with the CARS Tour, and hopefully to seeing you in the broadcast booth.

Never afraid to speak his mind, a true one of a kind that we will never see again, and what I wouldn't give to see him win a championship to go out in style.... and I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this

I just got into Nascar again in November 2022. I grew up knowing names and watching nascar here and there, but for some reason this made me tear up. What an amazing career and bondage Smoke and The Closer have. So glad I'm gonna see Harvick race in his last season. 🙂

I watched that first race. Became a huge Harvick and NASCAR fan at that moment. I will cherish this last year as well. I know when he retires I will as well. I certainly couldn’t cheer for anyone else and the sport just ain’t same anymore!!! Love you Kevin!!!! Hope it’s a great year!!!

It's crazy how after time these guys become special to you, I remember I used to hate Jeff Gordon,Jimmie Johnson,Kyle Bush,Kevin Harvick, and with all they've done and me seeing them grow and have family's of their own, they are special people man,I love em all.

Man we’re all getting older. Kevin give us hope after Dale’s death. When Kevin went to SHR is when we saw how good he really is. This was a truly great match. Whether you win or lose this year we will always be grateful for the moment you have gave us. I got to meet you once at Twin Hills Collectables in Mayfield Kentucky. You signed my diecast and then looked up at me and shook my hand. You probably wouldn’t remember, but I will never forget! Thank you!

Harvick has been my guy ever since Dale Sr left us and it sucks that he will no longer be on the track full time after this year. Hopefully he stays around in some capacity whether it’s on TV or doing random races here and there. We’ll have his son and possibly daughter to cheer for in the future.

I have loved seeing Stewart-Haas racing grow and change. I am at heart a Tony Stewart fan. His whole career. As I watched an interview with Chase Briscoe I knew that he was the right choice. I know that the day comes when we all take the step back, to retire as we come to eventually call it. I always knew that this day would come, and it's bittersweet as it should be. In whatever capacity and roll that you go forward in Kevin, you will forever be that top notch driver, competitor and rascal who is Kevin, The Closer. You have a tremendous amount of wisdom and knowledge that you can share. After all, there is no one on the track today who enters a corner the way that you do. You took what Jeff Gordon showed us about taking care fo your tires at the start of the run, and made it into a whole corner scenario, and no one can work that magic like you do. Thanks for being that driver who has never been afraid of poking the bear, and for showing present day drivers how to race like they did 25 years ago. You didn't only fill some pretty big shoes. You made a whole other set of shoes for drivers to aim at filling. Thank you for always being you.

I'm from Birmingham. Im a proud Alabama Gang fan. Bobby and Donnie, Davey, Clifford, Red, Hut. I am and will always a HUGE fan of that #28 TEXACO/HAVOLINE THUNDERBIRD and the man behind the wheel! When Bobby and Donnie retired I understood. But when Davey died I was devastated as were all the Alabama Gang and NASCAR fans. After Davey, I got behind Smoke. And thank you Tony, it was a great ride for 15 yrs( I may be wrong with that number). Smoke retired, Kevin went to SHR I got behind him. Now he's retiring, im retiring from NASCAR. This new batch of drivers just don't get my attention. But good luck to all them and Kevin stay around NASCAR, you tell it like it is!

Never been a Harvick fan but always respected him and always will. Not many drivers can step in to fill a void that big and then be so successful.

I remember watching Kevin's first race after Dale sr passed. I was always pulling for him (despite being a 24 fan~). He's had ups and downs, some days I couldn't stand him, others I was happy to see him at the top of his game. He's a wonderful person with so much spirit, passion, and talent behind the wheel. Gonna miss seeing him on the track. Give 'em hell, Happy Harvick! And I wish ya a "happy" retirement.

Damn, I'm gonna miss him racing!!!!! I've been a NASCAR fan since Lake Speed's one and only win and I discovered that this racing was on tv many weekends after that. Harvick's been my favorite driver since way back in the 29 days. I saw his first win, shortly after he "replaced" my favorite driver of all time- Big E. Him and Larson are my two favorites now. Tony was also one of my favorites. Well said Smoke!! Go for the cup guys! Good Luck!!!

This has been a wild ride.Met Kevin in 2005 Atlanta spring race. Caught him on his way to his car and you would have thought he had all day to take time to meet me. So amazed at his career! Been my driver since the start!

Man I miss NASCAR as it used to be. I used to look forward to Sundays every single week and followed every news line. NASCARs ownership has changed the sport so much its unrecognizable. I visited Charlotte Motor Speedway a couple years ago and the ladies working in the gift center hadn’t been to a race in 4-5 years they told me because the sport is just not the same as it was. It’s so sad to see Kevin go since he feels like one of the last remaining pieces of those golden years but I wish him luck and hope he enjoys retirement.

I'll never forget the first time I saw Delana up on the pit box in a firesuit. My initial reaction was why? But looking back, I get it. I love the family sport racing can be. Kevin, as Tony said, you've already won...Now, go out and win!

I didn't like Harvick at first but he grew on me over the years... I'll never forget that 2007 Daytona 500, that caught my family's attention and they took me to Talladega 3 times after they all made fun of me for liking this sport... He's done things for me that I haven't realized and I'm happy for him..

Damn I remember 22 years ago sitting 8 rows up from the finish line watching harvick cross that finish line at first I couldn’t stand him but half of that was because I was Ford fan lol but later in life I rooted for him regardless of what he drove because he was one of the last of what I will know as a legend like Kurt bush that was the last driver to drive with Dale it’s crazy how fast life goes by. I hated Tony as well but as life goes own we all grow up for the better and they are two of the most awesome people I know to this day! Congrats on an Amazing career Kevin
