I don't agree with Barkley a lot but he's right about one thing.. somebody has to score the points on these bad teams.. if Kevin Love is your best player, your ceiling is the 1st rd of the playoffs.. if he's your 3rd best player (and shows up), you have a pretty good chance. Love is a really good, not great player who has a tendency to disappear at the most inopportune times.. Game 3 of the Finals, must win game.. 9 points.. Game 5, must win game.. 6 points.. those were both winnable games if he's just average. But basketball is a game of matchups and GS is just a horrible matchup for him. Although he could provide more on offense. He's just not reliable enough. He could score 6 or 26. That's not good enough to beat a team like GS.. and he can't defend or protect the rim to make up for it on the other end so if he's not scoring he's useless against the Warriors

Their bench was complete garbage. There were games where the bench combined to score 5 points.. It was so bad that they had to start putting Pekovic out there with the second unit just so they would score some points while the starters rested. Game after game the starters would either get off to a good lead or have it close against a good team, only to have the bench throw it all away.
