@environm3ntalist549 Because Pep would likely take a much needed extended break if he left City. Just like he’s done after leaving Barcelona and Bayern Munich. Realistically, he’s not going to be the England manager this time around. Maybe in the future but I highly, highly doubt it for the 2026 World Cup.

@robertmarshall8533 I’m not trying to antagonize you at all but each player has a different relationship with how they view their connection to their country. Just like anyone else in society. A lot of people automatically assume that everyone is deeply patriotic and has a strong affinity for their country. That’s a very false assumption. Apathy, disdain, resentment, oppression and neglect of certain populations etc are all rife within the citizenry of most countries within their general population. Footballers are no different. Just letting you know because I think a lot of people don’t realize each person looks at the flag differently.

@greenconcrete-z8m mate, I got back from Barca 4 weeks ago and have been to Spain many a time. We’re not talking about economy’s we’re talking about culture. Spain is a beautiful country to bottom. There’s no Spanish versions of Birmingham, Luton, Huddersfield, Bradford’s etc I love this country for its history and pride but let’s be honest… it’s a shi*thole. Ps I live in Manchester.
