@@AlexPerez-1115 Kevin was only one shark and not two the sharks they were going to be getting Lori's deal. So this is why being one shark Kevin could take a lower percent. I think that they should have gone with Lori's deal, but they decided to think too hard about it and I feel lost out on the better deal.

@@leban86 The moment Lori categorically denied an offer on the table placed "by" the company founders, the deal was open for anybody else. They did not have to respond to the decline by Lori. Their response was already made in the form of 25% offer (coming down from 33.3%) and she ignored it loud and clear. Bottomline: Not a steal. :)

I don't think so. I haven't seen the whole episode, but it could be possible that they didn't wanna give a third of their business, specially because they are already three people with equal rights in the business. Kevin coming in at 25 points means that he's not gonna have the final word over the decisions made. I could be wrong tho.

The 33% would’ve been split between two sharks each giving 50k for 16.7% so actually 1 shark would cost 33% for 100k but Kevin costed only 25% for 100k hope that clears things up they saved 8%

He was just being smart. He knows Lori would refuse and try to get more equity cause other sharks are not interested. He was waiting patiently for Lori to declined then jumped in and got the deal. If he said it before checking on Lori, Lori would’ve agreed to %25. Smart move by Mr.Wonderful

Well it wasn't stolen. They had all the option to say yes at 25%. They didn't. Kevin even asked first if she will do it for 25% or not. He used to opportunity. Can't say he stole. He just acted smart.

Anyone who has run a real business knows business happens raw and from the hip and not the frankly pretentious pseudo sophistication of dragon den (where most deals never actually go thru even after they say yes). Its a typical socialist mindset where they know the market doesnt exist and u need the govt to run any real business.

They don’t do that because that’s a wasted 100k that could be spent investing into another business. Larger investments take more time for the money to come back and that’s wasted time and money that could be spent on other investments.
