I always felt Harper did a good gob and had some backbone. Trudeau is like a child, too bad he won on a popularity vote, I have never seen him as a strong PM, but I was hopeful he would change for the sake of Canada's future. I know he needs to stop over spending on the Natives, stop giving them the Lobster fisheries, and even now they are pissed off they don't want any regulation or have to follow the conservation laws. You will never make these people happy by continuing to throw money at them. And recently I heard Canada donated 400 Mil to China, WTF. This is far more than just TRUE-deau. I am totally frustrated Canadian. I attended a one room school house in 1954. Then I knew something was wrong. Why was it back then that teachers were sent to Russia to learn the Prussian practices and ideology? To me it goes hand in hand with the UNIONS, as UNIONS ARE DEFINATELY A HUGE PROBLEM. I find it the BANKS AS WELL because they too I believe decide curricula. I am a frustrated mother, teacher and someone who is dedicated to Canadian families and to our nation. However, WE do not have a Nation. WE have a CORPORATION. I guess this is the root of the problem?

I offer this as a thought to consider when trying to understand deductive reasoning and the lack of. How many jobs follow a defined procedure when doing a work? Heart surgery, dental work, accounting, clerical work, optometrist, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. There are codes, regulations, best practices, etc., that people follow and refer in doing a job. I am not saying there is absolutely NO innovation, I am saying most actions much prefer consistency and in fact do not want experimentation or individual thought and action. But there are jobs where best approximation is the very essence of the job. These are jobs without a known outcome and thus there is rational deductive reasoning. What kind of jobs are these? Geological interpretation, many engineering jobs, astronomy, the space industry, forecasting such as weather, monetary, where predictive methods and simulations are required. So we have jobs that pursue known and accepted methods and others that have few known well established correct answers. I will state this another way. Some people work where outside the box deductive reasoning is and everyday part of their job. Others jobs require employees follow a script and variation discouraged or denied altogether. Should the Liberal Minister of Energy be a bus driver? Should the Liberal Minister of Agriculture be a former Travel Agent? Should the Minister of Environment have no post secondary education in environmental studies? I could go on and on. If you had a critical illness where the prognosis for your survival was not encouraging I would pose this question. If you could identify someone with great experience and past success treating your condition, would you choose a person possessing these qualifications or someone with as many minority traits as can be conceived and hope for the best outcome? I think when it comes to your very survival deductive reasoning, innovation, research, a lot of diagnostic investigation, in other words the best available would be your choice. Mediocrity is not likely a trait acceptable. Very few people get Federal Government cabinet positions. But people with no deductive reasoning will choose or agree these people filling cabinet positions can have second, third, fourth tier qualifications. Those who are pragmatic and used to deductive reasoning would NEVER chose such people. So there we have it, competency is not a trait many ignore. Deductive reasoning is not a trait shared by many.

Universities should teach governmental management courses with varying levels of degrees. NO POLITICIAN should be allowed to run for office with out this education. Politicians are elected based on the strength of personality regardless of competence. That is rediculos. Our former energy minister in BC filled her car with gas at a gas station. That is how much she knew about energy. Where in the private sector do you get a job because you are a "nice guy"?
