Funny things is they (women) spend their most precious years jumping from dude to dude and working on being a "Skrong" and "independent" woman. My therapist was referred to ME, by a woman. My male therapist's co-therapist was a woman. Everybody knew that she was sleeping with HER therapist. Over the course of all of my work, including retreats and group, couples, individual; There was a notable difference, and I'm very grateful I had the man I did who didn't put up with any of my attempts to bullsht him. She, however, was a mess. LOL, I think she had a PhD.
You women don't get it. You can be submissive without feeling like you have to go above and beyond. My girl, Debra, was submissive, but we didn't have a master/slave relationship. She allowed me to lead as the head of the household and she respected my decision-making ability. It didn't mean that she took a backseat. The thing is that folks need to work together. I put all my energy into making sure that she and our children were good. You, young ladies, are making going through life with a man too complicated.
The end result of feminism should have been better understanding between men and women. Instead most women are just chronically angry at men. Couples are supports love and serve one another, each one doing their best within the relationship and making of the home. A lot just have a bad attitude.

My grandmother didn't take any stuff from anybody, but she had my grandfather's dinner ready for him every night. They had a great relationship until he passed away in 1996 after 40 plus years of marriage.
