saw this guy very recently in melbourne. He is an ANIMAL on the decks, even better it was his 55th birthday! haha funniest thing, the power went out in the system, everyone sang him happy birthday, lights came back on, then ripped the place to shreds!
I dont want this boiler room to stop boiling so dope kevin as allways.. i thought you killed it at grasshopper.. an you always 1 up it.. hats off my dude...for the love of house....
Tight mixing always. Love how you brought At Les in so subtly. And the Movement/Boiler Room crowd didn't embarrass the Detroit legacy so thank you for that!
I kinda wish the crowd was invisible in videos like this, so people would comment on the music and the DJ instead of whether or not people are dancing.
Relax everyone - I just meant in general. I'm sure you can agree that at most shows everyone is directly facing the dj.. I'm just thinking that itd be cool to change it up and see what happens. That said, this show looked hella fun and I love boiler room which is why I'm here watching.
lmao some wanker at like 46:00 talking during one of those moments when both the music and everyone else in the room talking goes quiet... "ONE OF MY TOP FIVE... MY TOP FIVE DJS... ONE OF MY TOP FIVE DJS..."
trust me .. it's the same ... "Techno" was a name chosen for marketing reasons... now once Joey Beltram came around.. then there was true techno.. but even he said Energy Flash is a house record... whatever.. doesn't matter... just hate labels... I call it "dance music" ,. or 12 inch music
Sorry completely disagree. I mean you could say that about anything really. Grunge is just punk but the name was changed so Seattle could boast about inventing a sub-genre. Anyone who knows techno and house know the difference.
Six slugs, six points of view Obviously theres a difference now ... i said "was". As a techno head as a teen in the 90s ... i would have been let down by this "too housey" set
