Macfarlane is so dear, so full of love. He illuminates everything he does with such generosity of spirit, such openness, such honesty.. How is it possible to be so stunningly handsome and emotionally honest into the bargain? Luke is the answer. Thanks to Bros, where he's as incandescent as any supernova, I now know. What a total star!
Scotty always surprises me with his wisdom, and how he can actually anchor Kevin. They are truly meant for each other. To quote, "I even love the things I hate about you." They always manage to put a smile on my face!
"God i'm good!" haha Love Scotty! i could cry when i see a scene like the last one! "At least i'm certain of you!" God i'm honestly tearing up here! I love how they keep falling more and more in love with each other! And i love wise Scotty!
wauw, i love there storyline. They are not like the other gaystorylines this is mature.. Not making drama of every little small thing, not childich behavour.. Just Perfect.
do they have any idea how messed up us fans are gonna be if we try to achieve their level of perfectness? gawd! kevin scotty, raising the bar for relationships since season 2! they need lolcat captions. and a page of their own.
Homosexuality is not contagious, you don't "convert" for playing one in the same way you don't turn into a murderer after playing Dexter for several seasons, Matthew Rhys is just an amazing actor doing an amazing job. But that's just it, a job
I got a question for straight guys out here - is it even possible to remain unconverted after 5 seasons of playing Kevin opposite Scotty (assuming Matthew Rhys was straight)? They're totally in love with each other, definitely the most convincing couple in the whole drama!
tubeloving Matthew rhys is straight- he’s married to Keri Russell and has children. You can’t be CONVERTED to a sexual orientation. It’s not Catholicism. Smh READ A BOOK
thx for extending the dialogue. it was a bit of a silly question from me as a fan of such magnetic on-screen chemistry. however, I still hv a suspicion: isn't it possible to get deeper into character than one expected? and I'm sure, like you said, once out of the job, then out of character as well. Thx for providing that perspective!
Sorry if my answer sounded a little too blunt, didn't mean it ;) Anyway, I guess what you say might happen however, it does seem kind of difficult since they don't roll scenes in just one take, one after the other... I guess that when you have to cut several times, either because you've made a mistake or because they need to change the cameras perspective and so on, it is difficult to get into character in such a way that you project the characters into your real life.
