with a performance like this how could he not win. absolutely fantastic! he put his heart and soul into every performance with his amazing voice. he so deserved to win.

This guy is a Soul&Motown singer, yet he won a TV Competition to be the next pop star...doesn't that show diversity in his vocal range? I think it shows alot about the guy.
Even though Will.i.am is always a very poor loser it was nice to hear him acknowledge that Kevins talent is obvious and that he too cannot believe hes not had the success he deserves. Seems a nice bloke, lovely young family, but a truly talented singer. Glad he won and looking forward to hearing and seeing more of him soon. This time reaping the benefits of his lovely soulful voice.
+jonsa75 Stevie McCrorie was my favorite last season, and i was glad he won, but now, he came back to his job as a fireman. This show just can't produce a succesful winner, and i don't think Kevin can change that (Jolan or Cody could have)
I don't agree, but maybe Kevin will also have to go back to his old job? Oh! That's right, singing and recording IS his old job!! Lol.. To be honest I wouldn't have a clue who won any of the previous years because I'm not a fan of the show per se. I've followed Kevin for a long time and seen him perform several times live. He was the reason I bothered watching this season and I won't be watching another! I do agree that Cody and Jolan are excellent and will have a future (that Essex girl whose name escapes me just left me cold)
I don't now what to think really after that. I thought, 'finally some one with a difference' (Cody), England, is notorious to produce some of the more controversial musicians of the industry. And I do believe with her voice she was representing the cracks of a new generation, and the petty is, that the old one as usual they did't listen too.
Well, I would say we'll see him next year performing his own boring song in the quarter finals of The Voice 2017 like Stevie did this year. I don't think he is a bad singer, his blind audition was outstanding. But this performance of "Stay" is not at all a winner's performance. He was off melody several times and did not reach well the high notes. But apparently it's whar british public wants...
perfect voice control but his voice doesn't have the quality that tells him apart from other singers. jolan and cody has theirs. Kevin is my top2 for this night next to jolan.
3 x better singer than CODY or LYDIA, and 2x better than JOLAN, if it's about the VOICE/SINGING. If you are judging it on other things then i don't know. However as far as i'm concerned its called THE VOICE, and KEVIN was THE VOICE. Clearly!
Once again Kevin shows here why he was the hot favourite from the first bars of his blind audition. He has the most engaging combination of tone, control and (let's face it) looks in the competition. He has been a gift to the media over the last few weeks, with by far the biggest profile of any of the contestants. In the end I preferred Jolan's performances this evening, but I think I always knew it was Kevin's for the taking. I will download the single this evening and look forward to checking out the album when it appears. A worthy winner and an all round nice chap. He deserves it!

A deserved winner. Great tone and a fabulous range - he sings in a key and hits incredible notes that would be beyond most. Him, Cody and Vangelis gave the performances i most enjoyed during the series.
+TheGeoVlog His voice does not have much range, although he uses it well. I am glad he won, for his sake. His family have more use for the prize money than the younger contestants and most of them have time to make it on their own terms.
Now this is a performance that is truly better than the original! I was wondering how could he make such a tame song like Stay worthy of the grand stage of the finals, but he absolutely smashed it!! Just amazing

His edge to other contestants is his very pure, natural and powerful voice. No dramas, only his voice. That's literally we're looking for The Voice. Congrats Kevin!

Kevin was head & shoulder's above the competition, literally men against boys & girls.He sing's with such emotion and quality, how is he not a national tresure?2 years on, I still play this daily, so much better than the original, which was OK. Surely someone must give him another break.
Yeah once again congrats to Kevin Simm, I'm entitled to my opinions. Cody was very good too, I'm sure she'll go far. So Ml 'Mongol" whoever you are, take a running jump!
Beautiful. I was transfixed by Kevin's voice at the auditions and despite minor inconsistencies I have remained transfixed and am so pleased he won. Congratulations Kevin, and well done to the other finalists who I'm sure will go on to their own successes.
