Oh Sweet Men what a to use your word Glorious walk❤ Thank You for taking us along❤ Santa Lina will look and see if it prospers across the pond so pretty✨️
Thanbks so much, and I if my knowledge of plants seems high it is only because I know what I know... so many plants I am unaware of, or simply cannot remember the name of them despite knowing them. 😁👍😁
Hiya Paul, ohh what a treat. Soo much to see? The Hive is fascinating I believe watched a visit before must take another peek. Appreciate a tour with a friend across the pond Thankyou. Take care. Southern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦🐝
The Hive is amazing... it was not normally open until 10am so even as members we were not allowed in until then, though that has now changed which means an early morning visit to it usually sees us on our own. 👍😊👍
Plant in the kitchen garden (6’15) may be mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris). Now mostly considered a ‘weed’ but it used to be grown in kitchen gardens as it helps in the digestion of rich, fat foods.
Wow, you know your own garden isn't doing that badly when Kew is struggling in some areas, too. The grass paths may look nicer, but wheelchairs and mobility scooters, not to mention strollers, run better on a hard surface. Cheers. ~ Jon in rural BC, Canada
I think the empty border used to be a box hedge. Probably taken out because of box blight or box moth caterpillars. A lot of gardens are switching from box to a more pest resistant plant so it will be interesting to see what choice the Kew Palace head gardener will decide on.
