@@SeaJayBelfast This really is the main factor as to whether it works or not. With car keys, it's the lack of ability to hold the two blades together that makes it so difficult, not the cutters ability to cut.
whats the clamp for the keys your using can you link or tell me whats it called so i can google the price of where to buy one? i dont need the key cutter just the thing you use to hold the keys.
This is the problem, huh? By the time you've spent all that time building something like that, you could have bought a cheap key duplicator that traces anyway.. I feel like the lishi needs some adapters to hold keys and alignment tools to make it into a truly useful tool. It's just too difficult to use it freehand. Particularly on automotive keys with plastic molding over the blade.
