My wheelchair can't get around the graves, just the flat areas. I love seeing the old stones and crypts through your lens Mr Boots. It's mind boggling to think of all those folks buried in the guinea graves! Thanks for taking us along. Deb of Oz.
I could wax lyrical about this graveyard. I have five members of my family members buried in the grounds. One particular headstone reads the gentleman’s name and how he was assassinated. Also, in that graveyard, there a Lopsided, crucifix purposely carved that way, and if you look at it, it’s carved that way, and erected by the men who worked on the railways for their dear friend who died working on the railway, and they actually made the cross from the stones that supported railway sleepers Truly brilliant
omg, i saw the name of my great great grandfather, my mum`s great grandfather, on the 3rd headstone of guinea graves. john keen, died 1899. you made my day, from queensland, australia.
