I this video Shen and I work together on a full item pokemon crystal randomizer. All Key Items, Badges, Items you receive from NPCs and overworld item balls are randomly shuffled.
Regular stuff like random Pokemon and random moves is also added!

That is what Shen was referring to when he mentioned Flying away from the rival in Olivine. If you do that, the sprites mess up like that. Not sure about the details.

Even with bad DVs, Victreebel is still S tier. Right around Zapdos/Espeon/Beedrill level.

Gender in gen 2 is determined by the attack DV, lower half is female and upper half is male

@@GelberDracheLP All non female-exclusive species physical attackers being male in competitive leads to attract being not AS bad in gen 2, and other weird things. In general if you see a female physical attacker in a playthrough, run and find another.
