"In her eyes" "In her eye-sockets" "In her optics" "In the windows of her soul" After watching this skit a million times I'm just appreciating the subtle bits
Laron can't laugh is one of the skits that sends me into a fit of laughter. Don't remember the crying one. Is that one of the skits they released on RU-vid this past year, or was played when the show originally aired? Haven't seen too many of their newer sketches.
@@ladyraven3418 it was on the show and on RU-vid. It’s the skit where they are all sitting at the table and one of the gang members is telling a story how his friend died and one of the guys can’t stop from laughing
I'm going to disagree. They are great and Jordan Peele has become well known for his movies, but for whatever reason, I don't think they got the attention they deserved. They are certainly not in the same category as the Chapelle Show. I have heard a hundred people talking about the Rick James or Prince sketches on Chapelle, but never heard anyone quote Key and Peele.
@@powtoast That's crazy because I've had the opposite experience and couldn't go a week without hearing a k&p quote or mention, especially with the anger translator skits! Either way they are amazing and hilarious
@@lynnd4888 Maybe it's a generational thing. For me, there are quotes that I know immediately - "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition." "I'm Rick James, bitch!" "I'm Gumby, Damn it!" But I can't come up with a single Key and Peele Quote except the skits that I just watched. No one has ever said to me - "De-Nice? De-Nice?"
If you guys reacted to their entire catalog on RU-vid, I'd watch every video lol and they were both on mad TV. They had good skits together on there too
This was the skit for season 1 Episode 1, what a great start off. Unlike the first 4 seasons where each skit was prefaced with key and peels and joking around on stage with an audience, season 5 had all the skits prefaced by a conversation key and peels are having in a car on a road trip in Midwest America, just on the road the whole season. AND on the last episode of season 5 and their last skit ends, they pull over the car and say “Bitch” and just sigh in relief, and when you realize how it all ties up; just wholesome.
"Key & Peele" (their show) went from 2012-2015 (5 Seasons, 53 episodes) THEY WERE GREAT!!!! In the US their show (even just saying their names was always "Key & Peele", for a long time I didn't even know which was which, always "Key & Peele") They were huge while Obama was President. Because of their fame, they have moved on to their own careers. KEY (the bald one) is a character actor in several movies (usually comedies that aren't big movies). PEELE (the shorter one) directed "Get Out" a Black horror film that won him several Academy Awards (Oscars). so Peele is now considered a big-time director. However, his other movies and TV show met with medium success. I wish both the best of luck, BUT my all time FAVORITE is when they work together doing THESE SKETCH COMEDIES!!! Together Key&Peele are so funny, great!!!
Office Blokes x Key and Peele. Comedy Gold 🤣. Tell me why this is exactly what dudes do when they girl ain't around. They act tough but be looking over they shoulder heavy lmao 🤣🤣
I don’t think they do skits or comedy together anymore and they’ve kinda separated to do their own thing but they used to have a show on tv. Jordan Peele is actually a director now and has made the movie “get out” which stars the British actor Daniel Kaluuya and its a really good movie. You guys should definitely watch it
This is my all time favorite skit of theirs. It hits home on both levels- i will admit i am guilty of all the wife/gf things they talked about and my bf knows he better be in outer space if he wants to call me a b****..
This is a deep deep rabbit hole. Please keep watching them. A few great ones I can think of off the top of my head are: “Laron Can’t Laugh”........”Lightening in a Bottle”........”When the A Capella Group Already Has One Token Black Guy”......”Slapass”......and “Continental Breakfast” All equally hilarious. Also, both of these guys started in Mad TV and idk if this has been pointed out yet to you blokes but Jordan Peele is now a big time film director! So far he has done “Get Out” and “Us” but I’m sure he will have a long successful career. He’s extremely talented.
Every time I am going out to dinner with a woman it take 25 minutes just to decide where to go because women do not want to decide. This video is so on point.
@@d3l3tes00n No. Many women want the man to decide and than complain when they do not like the restaurant. Many married couples I know have the same problem.
"Oh D-A-Ron ya messed up!" Key was on Reno 911 as a bit player. I think you can buy the series on RU-vid. At least I see ads to do so here on the East Coast, US. If you subscribe to Paramount+ you might be able to get the show on that channel. This one the first bit of the first episode of the series. People invite other people over to their houses so they can call their spouses names D-A-Aron. You are so lucky to be seeing these for the first time, thanks for taking us on this ride.
There are so many more to look forward to, and I'm so glad you appreciate them. They're both multi-talented and it didn't take long for them to move on to bigger (more lucrative, anyway) things.
Some other hilarious ones are: Continental Breakfast, Laron Can't Laugh, every single one of the Meegan skits, the Slow Mo one, Black Ice, Turbulence, Aerobics Meltdown, and pretty much any one that pops up on YT recommend after that.
Key has been in many movies (like in Tomorrowland, the store that blew up) and in How I Met Your Mother (the Stuck up couple at a restaurant) and many many others.
I love the reactions to K&P, too, but they can’t spend all their time on the channel lol. Besides, it’s better spaced out because there are SO many K&P sketches, and I get all kinds of giddy when a new reaction notification pops up!
Jordan Peele is actually one of the hottest directors right now. He did the amazing "Get Out" and "Us". He also produced BlacKkKlansman. He and Keegan-Michael Key have been involved in some of the best skit and improv comedy shows around but have only recently got their due since Key & Peele took off. Just found the channel today and loving your insightful and interesting commentary on American subjects.
They are in major films, Key attended the Press Corps Dinner for President Obama playing the President's more outspoken alter ego. other shows: VEEP, Friends from College, The Simpsons, Parks &Recreation, Fargo the TV series, Bob's Burgers, etc Funny stuff.
“Nervous Mob Boss” is another great one by them! Unrelated to Key and Peele, the Scott Sterling penalty kick shootout skit by Stuidio C is a classic that you guys may enjoy!
In answer to your question, "are they on anything?".... they have a routine called anger translator, where one portrayed Pres. Obama and the other was saying what Obama really meant. It was so popular and well-known that the real Pres. Obama had the anger translator appear with him at the White House Correspondents dinner.
My text msg history with my boyfriend consists of me saying, be there in a min, I need 5 min, almost ready, almost done, I'm coming 1 sec. And him saying, ok.
Both of them started off on MadTv. Jordan Peele now mainly focuses on directing and creating movies. If you've ever seen the movie "Get Out" that was his. Great movie.
There are sooo many hilarious skits. They are both successful outside of the show though. Especially Peele, who either won or was nominated for an Oscar.
aww... I just found this channel and you guys are so adorable! I like this chill, genuine vibe that's in here too... will def' check out your other reaction vids from now on.. ^_^ #subbed
After Key & Peele, yall gotta do Conan Remotes: Conan visits Guinness Factory, Conan goes to Taco Bell, Conan Lyft with Kevin hart and Ice Cube, and so much more.
they have been in movies...there will be loads they have done cameos and stuff in jordan peele and keegan-michael key if you simply search the names you may remember what you have seen them in
7:53 *Can anyone help me understand what he says here?* He says something like, "I know we've done (fill in the blank) that's one of my favorites." I haven't had a single issue understanding there accents until this! I need to learn.
