It's hard to believe that our government doesnt have a tool, person like a SCOTUS or... something to not allow the house to impeach considering there is no high crime or misdemeanor and its obviously just political and partisan. Itll obviously get shot down in senate like the lame duck it is but still. I cant believe the dems can get away with this considering they've openly admitted they wanted him impeached before he was even inaugurated. Filthy dems.

It is indeed a flaw in the extremely partisan system we have today that it can only be wielded by the party that is against the president, while the defense rests on the party that supports him at all costs, with both parties having an obvious political agendas. And yet, if you were to exclude impeachment on those grounds, there will be no other way left to deal with abuses of power by the POTUS. We'll become another Russia basically, or Turkey, where the president can commit crimes with impunity. Is that what you want?

I love these black Republican skits by Key & Peele. On a serious note though the United States needs to get rid off this two party political system. It is very divisive and it doesn't really work for most people.
Oh man, I've been preaching that for years. But unfortunately it's not gonna happen. At least not until people wake up to the reality that neither party exist for their best interests. That's why I remain an independent. I have the choice to vote for the individual I want, not the party, and then I have the option to vote for a third party candidate if none of the candidates are people I agree with. That's what I did in the last election. Because voting between one billionaire or the other didn't sit well with me.
Best part is when they feign surprise with their hand gestures at the "injured" man informing them their tax dollars will pay for his medical care due to Obama Care. It's little touches like that I enjoy.
It's making fun of Democrats haha. Many black people blindly vote democrats in the USA even though the republicans abolished slavery and Democrats started it and tried to fight to keep it alive. Black republicans are generally called uncle Tom's for having a differing opinion.
I do have to add I don't think this is making fun of Democrats. I think it's a hardline lefty's opinion of what Republican Black people think. Why are people upset about the voter ID laws? I really doubt there are a lot of legitimate citizens who want to vote that can’t because they don’t want to go get a federal ID.
See I can't understand how anyone would be against having to have a valid form of ID that proves you are an American citizen to vote. The only reason you wouldn't want that is if you WANTED people who are not American citizens to vote. Everyone born in the USA and is a citizen has at least one form of ID that proves who you are, your birth certificate, which is on file and accessible if you simply take the time to request it if you dont have a copy already.
@@bunnywaffles1190 Because getting a valid form of ID requires either money, time, or a willingness to deal with a lot of bureaucratic hassle, all things that lower income people often don't have in abundance. People insisting on voter ID laws in a place with low rates of actual electoral fraud are usually either ignorant of how voter ID laws disproportionately affect lower income voters or intentionally trying to make it more difficult for large swathes of lower income people to vote.

Just out of basic reasoning the only situation when ID is necessary for voting should be in places where ID is mandatory for citizens in general. In shitton of countries some sort of ID is mandatory and every citizen have a duty to get their ID at certain age through well-established and simple procedure. In The US not only ID is completely optional, there’s no established procedure to get it, nor established form of it on federal level. In this situation demanding ID for voting doesn’t look that reasonable anymore. You do not need ID to be taxed, feed, hired, provided with loan, etc., but you need it for voting for fuck all reasons. That’s taxation without representation.

I'd see countless people come (who got out of their cars, by the way) and get pissed at me because they needed to present some form of photo I. D. for a trade. That's reason fucking 5 million that I hate this skit. Love K&P, but when they pander to the "youthful" bullshit politics, it annoys the shit out of me. @@rfoster8 Looked up US voter ID laws compared them to UKs. Mate, it's much harder to get an ID in Europe than in US and yet you still are crying about how hard it is. It's not hard at all and its much cheaper. In some countries you can get your ID only in capital city with two week waiting period, paying at least 50$. Sounds more like you are trying to find an excuse to not vote or not getting ID. In Europe you cant vote with Drivers licence either. Why? Cause we have strong anti voting-fraud laws. US laws look ridiculous and STILL you have audacity to tell us that its sooooooooo hard for you to be a responsible adult and get an ID. Excuses and victim mentality is very popular in USA it seems.
