I have also visited that same swimming pool with my younger son. It is very nice and the water is hotter at the other end. Looks like they clean it up annually to keep the algae to minimum. I think the pool was once filled by volcanic ash and then it was properly cleaned.
@@JonBear I also enjoyed some of the natural hot tubs. One has to be careful though, one can cook eggs in some of them The official, municipal swiming pools are also nice and I think they are far better than the Blue Lagoon as they are not that crowded and the entrance fee is really neglible. They are very nice and VERY clean. You are notallowed in with beer or Bitafiskur but one can always enjoy of those later on.
0:33 thank God I've got this exposure right after all 😂 10:57 I mean it, Burj Al Arab fails easily with this cooking, so I would say way over 7-star 🙂 With Jon every icelandic secret becomes a real life experience! Thank you 🙂
