Awesome video! Funny story i did either a corolla or camry 1997 or 99 can't remember , all keys lost and i removed the driver side door lock cylinder and was hoping to find the code for the cuts, turns out it was on the passenger side cylinder instead but i proceeded to go through with cutting via the cuts that i found on the driver side lock. All the pins were wrong and eventually after 10 test keys i realised that it has a depth conversion. All 1 were 4 and vice versa, all 2 were 3 and vice versa. I took forever but i learned a lot from it. Some newer Toyotas have 3 different fob variants and it depends on your vin. I think easiest toyota I've done is the Prius older model where you press the start button a bunch, overall toyota is a bit of a pain in one way or another.
How is that Dolphin compared to the mini plus? Is it holding up well ? I’m really torn between which one to get. The mini is getting great reviews ! Thanks
Excelente video, perdona una pregunta, el bombin de la puerta de toyota lleva 8 cortes, con el código del bombin de la puerta te da los 10 cortes para el ignition?
Hi I have a question am using the xhorse Dolphin xp 005L am doing an all key lost for a 2011 Mazda2 and a 2004 Lexus Es 330 using the key code as both of these vehicles has their key code on the driver side door locks but anytime I punch the code to cut the key both keys ends up not working and not able to turn the locks let alone the ignition, I don’t know what am doing wrong and I need help with it please if any of you experienced guys can help that will be great for me, I work on my own cars I have a little dealership. To understand my point more clearly I just feed in the key code I see on the door locks through the all key lost on the dolphin and just go to cut but yet I don’t get the keys right to make it work because after it’s cut it’s not able to turn any of the locks nor the ignition cylinder. Thanks any help will be appreciated so much. Bless .
the lexus key code is not on the driver door it will be on the passenger if your car has a lock on it.. and as for the mazda i don't believe they have a code on the door you will need to lishi it.. i reccomend you get an ilco autotruck reference book or instacode to check the code series before you start entering codes on the dolphin.. also it could be that that your machine needs to be update but i highly doubt that .. try pulling out the passenger lock on the passenger and try again it's like a 5 digit code no letters
Appreciate the quality of explaining n all, I do 25 -30 cars a day. Same as all. Out there In this biz. But seems like way to many steps... but i guess if you are messing w individual transponders not just having that 8$ key in stock? Or the fob combo. Different game. Good for you , you do explain well what you are doing. But it’s a TOYOTA. That’s the key code. It’s correct the way it is, all keys lost , need to reset immobilizer w the 16 min wait n put 2 in. Major thing Is that people get stuck, IF A PERSON ONLY HAS A VALET KEY!! Treat as all keys lost
I like very much your videos because it show many practice on that devices. As the V2.4.3 Xhorse VVDI Key Tool , you presented so nice is not available anymore, it would be nice if you could make a comparation between V2.4.3 Xhorse VVDI Key Tool vs XHORSE VVDI KEY TOOL MAX. Should I buy the XHORSE VVDI KEY TOOL MAX instead of the oldes one V2.4.3 Xhorse VVDI Key Tool ? Thank you
Yes buy the key tool max!! It has more updates than the original vvdi key tool !! The original is more effective but the newer max key tool has a larger vehicle list and more capabilities!!
Hello sir, I have MINI KEY TOOL and MINI OBD TOOL in my hand,MINI OBD TOOL is powered by MOBILE and TABLET Is it possible to program the All Lost Key (SMART KEY) of (2008-2018 LAND CRUISER or LEXUS) using these two tools? Is it possible to program MINIOBD to program the SMART KEY of all KEY losses of Toyota or any other brand vehicles? (Works with mobile Tablet phone)
Good Video! Have you ever used the Autek IKEY820 tool? It's cheap compared to other tools and I'm wondering what you think of it and is it worth the investment?
Hello sir!! No i havnt used it but i aswell heard its a good machine!! Any programmer is a good investment... just im case one fails you have the other..
@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE Thanks for the info. If anyone is interested, I found a link to a Autek IKEY820 application guide, but it isn't hosted on Autek and I wasn't able to find it on their website. Also it says IFIX900 in the heading, so I don't know how accurate it is. Here is the link: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0839/9519/files/Autek_IKEY820_Coverage_List_2.pdf?55837

@@mattlebrun6601Thanks for the feedback. I actually enjoy the different areas in the automotive field and I used to do basic mechanical and electrical repairs on my vehicle, in addition to that I did headlight restoration and car upholstery cleaning (actually bought a launch X431 diagnotic machine a couple years ago and attempted to teach myself) I am assuming that some sort of formal training would first be required to become proficient enough to offer such a service to anyone...I am always up for a challenge when it comes to motor vehicle related matters.
@@crediblemike7266 this youtube is like a free collage, if you mess something up just figure the price of the mess up to get it fixed like a small tuition payment. watch mykeysautomotive if you really want to do this, i started this in feburary just watching mikes videos i have seen, and many lots of times over. mike is about the best teacher as he talks in everyday easy to understand. i am part time doing keys as it fits with my main buisnes. really have a passion for keys. like 1 year ago if you talked to me i knew nothing about keys and would have said keys are dumb. but i really watch about 1 hour a night on key videos. and buy a little when i can. seems like if i make 100 dollars i spend 200 on more key stuff.
@@mattlebrun6601 Thanks for the feedback. Your response is definitely appreciated. You keep up the good work that you are doing and I wish you all the best along with continued growth and success
I would have laid something on the car before cutting the key. Friend or not, show respect. Don't put your tools on a customer's car. This is why customers be wanting to stay and watch. They lose trust when they watch videos like these.

@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE yes probe (tracer UK) 👍 thanks for clearing it up would be interested to know the size of your tracer. Oops I mean probe 😜. I'm not yet using the dolphin I have a manual and currently setup as 2mm probe and 2mm cutter. Dolphin is on my Christmas list. Take care pal.
@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE thanks mate. Sorry I was being a bit dim. Reference the dolphin cuts from code so probes the key location. I can't do all keys lost as I have to trace the original along side the blank. Dolphin is defo on my list. Thanks and sorry to waste your time on my misunderstanding. I totally got it now though 👍
No . Door! Honda gas Cylinder on floor. Mazda’s door, ford - door code on back of BCM ( that’s a huge deal to anyone out there who is also an auto Locksmith) do you all know what it’s like to do the new forwards with the ultrasonic alarm active!!! Instead of doing that whole dance simply buy yourself a $10 endoscope and look on the back of the BCM which is either under the driver side left of the steering wheel or passenger side straight up and it says key code but it’s actually the door code , type it in and kill the alarm and simply special functions program Lost keys.. you have to put two in but honestly you can dummy it up if you’re not trying to kill the customer I always keep five Ford smart keys on the truck same thing with GM and y’all know everything else else etc etc... we all learn together but you don’t really learn to do a car once or twice and you run into that car again and you’re good you can end up doing 25 cars a day I personally do Copart. So they’re just dropping cars on me all day some are. 2021s some 2010 s
@@MrSvinkoyaschMrSvinkoyasch if you have a mechanical key yes ..I actually have a key reference book by ilco i also use to double check heres the link enjoy! www.ilco.us/resource/blob/954340/103e511c1a83b127f9ddc40e5f46b6d9/dwn-auto-truck-key-blank-reference-data.pdf
@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE whoa, that catalogue could be priceless! But unfortunately it concerns only the American market... I'm not much of a local in fact, I live on the opposite side of the planet.. almost. But thanks anyway, it will be useful in some cases. 🤔😁
Hola amigo, he visto varios de tus videos, por cierto muy buenos…una pregunta de donde sacas la información de la localización de los códigos de cortes en las diferentes marcas y vehículos par hacer las llaves perdidas?
Wouldn't it make more sense for companies to just stamp the pinning on the lock and completely avoid needing to go online? That makes sense right? It seems logical to me, which is why they probably wouldn't do it. Edit: Whoa, they even have the makes of those shitty Chinese cars they only sell in mainland that have silly names.
@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE - That makes a lot of sense, but if a car thief knows how to cut a key by reading pinning, I'd imagine they'd be savvy enough to steal it either way. Lol
NeverMetTheGuy yes cars will be stolen no matter what..i seen a ford truck with transponder system hot wired !! Dont ask how cause i dont know lol!! Theirs always smart thieves out there.. they can even steal teslas!! So you can imagine they have better programmers than us out there!! Hahaha
@@MYKEYSAUTOMOTIVE - There's some crazy shit out there to do things to these fancy new cars, and I don't trust it one bit; it's one more thing to fail. As far as bypassing a transponder, I'd imagine they could figure something out with a Raspberry Pi so it just mimics what the system would respond with; basically spoofing the handshake like a ham in the middle attack, but on a car and not wifi. There's also hardware which can capture the code off RFID cards but you need to get pretty close to a target to get that. In the pen-testing world they call it "ass grabbing" since you used to have to get that close. The DefCon RU-vid channel has videos about that you may be interested in if you wanna learn more.
I made a lost key to 98 skyline that came from japan!! It’s a non transponder a week later customer called me and told me ha had found a key inside the vehicle I pulled up and the key was the same the key code was stamped on the original key that’s so weird!
