There are many keyboard shortcuts in google sheets. Today we go over many of the important ones and how to do them on a Mac:
Open Keyboard Shortcut Menu: Command + /
Copy: Command + C
Paste: Command + V
Find: Command + F
Undo: Command + Z
Open Find and Replace Menu: Command + Shift + H
Select Column: Ctrl + Space
Select Row: Shift + Space
Fill Cells:
Fill Range: Command + Enter
Fill Down: Command + D
Fill Right: Command + R
Format Text:
Bold: Command + B
Italic: Command + U
Underline: Command + I
Text Alignment:
Left Align: Command + Shift + L
Center Align: Command + Shift + E
Right Align: Command + Shift + R
Change Number Type:
Decimal: Ctrl + Shift + 1
Time: Ctrl + Shift + 2
Date: Ctrl + Shift + 3
Currency: Ctrl + Shift + 4
Percentage: Ctrl + Shift + 5
Exponent: Ctrl + Shift + 6
Cell Borders:
Top Border: Option + Shift + 1
Right Border: Option + Shift + 2
Bottom Border: Option + Shift + 3
Left Border: Option + Shift + 4
Clear Borders: Option + Shift + 6
Full Borders: Option + Shift + 7

@4:45 When did this change? Command-D did this for me until this week. And presto, now command-d wants to add the page to a different google sheet. Very strange.

What if i type ctrl+shift+2 or ctrl+shift+3 and the date and time are not correct as the real date and time?

Did you find an answer to this? It's available on my PC when I enable compatible keyboard shortcuts: ALT + H, M, M. But not when I'm on my Mac. CTRL + OPTION + O, M all at once will open the menu to the correct merge selection. Then you have to press ENTER.
