I am an end-user of some games. I appreciated the work that went into developing a grame. With your presentation, you made me aware of the activities, planning (and budgets) that are followed in order to produce a new "product", the product being a game. What I am wondering, from viewing and following your video, are the questions raised by the audience. Those questions and answers would have given me much insite into the entire production process. Thank you Ms Brenham for your very informative presentation. Well done!!
Thanks for your comments Leslie! We've passed them on Stephanie Regarding the questions from the talk. Generally we prefer to keep the Q&A as part of the live experience (although there are sometimes exceptions to this). We feel that the the Q&A is one of the benefits of attending the event in-person, but we do sometimes include questions if they are in effect an extension of the talk itself We do also forward these RU-vid comments on to the presenters, who can then respond directly here in the video comments. This allows for additional post-event Q&A to take place, so if you do have any direct questions for Stephanie, please post them here and we'll forward them on!
In the game.. first thing you disable is.. Chromatic aberrations. Why you ask? Well simplest answer would be, "what is this do I need it? No can I get more fps if disabled yes." Ppl just don't know what it is.
That's the joy of game development. Passionately caring about things that impact the excellence of the game even if it not a lot of people understand what it is. :)
