Marc Summers was 34 years old when he was announcing Keynotes and hosted Double Dare on Nickelodeon.

OMG!, That is Rochelle the contestant on The Match Game 81' who beat up Mork & Mindy's Robert "Bob" Donner and the late great Gene Rayburn and yes that's Marc Summers' as a announcer on Keynotes in August of 1986 but in September he's about to make his TV debut as a future host of Nickelodeon's Double Dare pilot with the $ dollar signed scoreboards (no DD logo yet).

The theme was also used for "Run for the Money", I believe.

Do you know the name of the theme song used for this pilot? I'd really like to hear a clean version.

Thanks for sharing this gem! I always wondered what if Keynotes sold in the US? What would've the history of Double Dare been like? Plus correct me if I'm wrong, the theme of the pilot was also used for the theme of the Run for the Money pilot?

I assume that show was taped at CBS Television City at the Bob Barker Studios.

Reminds me a lot of the UK version's intro on ITV with Alistair Divall... Speaking of whom, I wonder if you could show him that?

You know, I wonder why Keynotes never sold to CBS in America, but did sell to ITV in England... and the Nine Network in Australia?

BTW, John, did you ever see both UK and Australian versions? You can find a few UK episodes and one Australian one on RU-vid.
