Keyscape in Omnisphere 2 

I know Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb lost my login password. I love any assistance you can offer me.

Hey, so i never actually released a Keyscape sound library. Maybe I should. But the Oceans Pad sound is definitely in the Ultimate Pad Collection for Omnisphere

At this stage I don't, but I'll def be creating Keyscape/Omnisphere 2 combination presets in the future! To be honest I'm not even sure if I saved that multi I showed in the video. But I'll def be doing a bunch of these kind of multis in the future!

Nere You just need the latest version of Keyscape and Omnisphere and Keyscape will show up in Omnisphere.

Yes you can def use this kind of setup live. I do using MainStage as a host for Omnisphere. I also use a Korg NanoKontrol 2 with a midi keyboard to switch patches for different songs.

I'm using MainStage 3.3 in this video. Omnisphere and Keyscape are not Standalone plugins. They need to be used inside a DAW like MainStage, Logic, Protools etc

Martin Breeson Both seperate products. But when installed Keyscape will also open in Omnisphere.

Tigerhunter887 Omnisphere and Keyscape are seperate products and sold separately. You can either use them independently or together like I show in this video with Keyscape sounds being accessible through the Omnisphere interface.

Peter James Productions which do you recommend that has, great keyboards that have a huge selection and keyboards that are a mix of a synth sort of, like a synth keyboard maybe.

Tigerhunter887 I personally use Omnisphere more than Keyscape. Omnisphere is all about Pads, Leads, Atmospheres, etc with some keyboard sounds. Keyscape is all Keyboard sounds. Pianos, Rhodes, Wurlys etc

Peter James Productions While running Keyscape and Omnisphere? Let’s say I were to do C7 on one channel strip via input with Keyscape then another instrument strip for a pad on Omnisphere via input and maybe add a Rhodes from Keyscape as well into its separate channel strip? I’m new to it and I am confused as to how I can just use the sliders through Mainstage to control each individual instrument in their own channel strips.

Edward xP Yes that’s correct. You can add in multiple instrument channels into MainStage along side each other and put Keyscape on one channel strip Omnisphere on another etc and control the volumes of each one inside MainStage with virtual sliders

I’ve been watching it over and over, first off the melody your playing is amazing, and I’m starting to understand what you did here, man the harder hitting piano mixed with the pad you created are so cool, and then the other part that’s fading in and out real quick is my favorite, I never realized Omnisphere had such powerful processors and I knew there was layers but this video has really opened my mind, thank you

For this video I was running my iMac. 3.2 GHz Intel Core i5 with a 1T SSD and lots of Ram (32GB to be exact). It's a few years old. It's less CPU heavy than you might think though. I had MainStage at a 256 buffer with the Safety Buffer On and it was totally fine. You have to remember that I was also recording audio and visuals for the video at the same time which sucks up even more CPU that normal.

Liam Gröndahl Omnisphere and Keyscape are two seperate products. But when you own both you can open Keyscape inside Omnisphere just like you can open Trilian inside Omnisphere if you own that as well.

Keyscape should automatically show up in Omnisphere if you have the latest versions of both Omnisphere 2 and Keyscape installed. You can also email Spectrasonics at info@spectrasonics.net if you're still having problems.

I few different ways. I either sample my own keyboards to make pads or I find a pad that I like and edit them to sound how I want or start from scratch and build them from the ground up. Here's some examples of my work. Pads for MainStage, Omnisphere etc. www.multitracks.com/patches/bundles/

In theory yes. But it depends on what other effects you're comparing too. It uses only one instance of Omnisphere so that helps keep CPU usage to a minimum

On Spectrasonics website they say a minimum of 8gigs of ram to run Keyscape.

Dragon Mijovich make sure you have an update to date version of both Keyscape and Omnisphere and Keyscape will just show up in Omnisphere automatically 👌🏻

That's a good question. I don't usually show the CPU usage during videos because it's an unfair test seeing as I'm capturing my screen and audio for the video at the same time which puts even more stress on my computer. But I should talk about it more. Factors like which DAW you are using Omnisphere in will also effect the CPU usage as well as your computer specs and buffer settings obviously :)
