Excellent video. Probably my favorite so far. It was like a rapid-fire of tips and tricks. Creating an exploded state for your assembly using the animation wizard is a life changer! Also twisting the camera instead of the model set is such a good tip!
Can you share the keyshot setup or download link which you are using in this video sir? Very impressive, I learn a lot sir. Thanks if you can help me about keyshot setup of this version.
Hello sir I have made 3rd product after watching all your tutorials because of you it is easy to work hi sir my name korry nagar i.m 3d product designer and use key shot Sir, there should be bathroom with shower from which water comes out, this one tutorial on animation
Yes! As of now, some materials and features are not 100% supported in GPU mode and they can look different. Since I have a fast CPU, I don't mind not using the GPU.
Thank you for the great tutorial! quick question here. How do you decide which light source you are going to use between geometry+light and HDRI light?
Esben Oxholm has a great video demonstrating the difference between the two. Essentially, HDRI lighting is more ambient, and physically acts like a light source that is farther away. On the other hand, a model acting as an area light is right in there close to your other models, and so it creates more dramatic lighting with more pronounced highlights, falloff, and diverging shadow directions.
Edan provides a good summary. Really, I want to use area lights when I want more control over the reflected light on the object, the shadows and when I want more overall contrast in the scene.
I have a GeForce GTX Titan 6gb, when I open Keyshot (latest version) the gpu button appears for a second then disappears, I can't find any option anywhere to bring it back, is there a solution?
I wish I knew why that was! Sounds like a bug. You're on the latest version of KS9 (and not a cracked version?) Try right-clicking on the ribbon. Can you re-enable the GPU button?
In GPU Mode the halfs of the shaft and spring which are basically inside the invisible cube appear black (after excluding these objects from being intersected by the invisible cube). Is there a way to fix this without having to switch to CPU mode where it renders just fine?
Hi, sorry. You mentioned CPU mode twice. I'm not sure I understand. If it's a bug, it might depend on the version of KeyShot you're using. Which version are you on?
