KeyStep Pro Tutorials | Episode 1 - Overview 

It will be nice to add ability to play in "live mode" as a 5th virtual track. So you can play live (using keys) along with already recorded 4 tracks. "Live mode" could be activated by press again already selected track i.e. no tracks will be illuminated. In setting should be possible to assign to this virtual "live track" either specific midi channel or specific CV output (different than for tracks 1-4). All in all it is very nice tool to make music ❤

I will pay $100 more for a version of Keystep Pro with full size keys! The shortness of the minikeys really messes up all my muscle memory from practicing on pianos. When I play normally my fingers end up at the very top of the black keys and it's hard to press them down from the very top.

Finally a great tool with full connectivity.

Hello, I recently bought the KeyLab 88 MkII and I'm extremely satisfied with it as it combines most of the things I need for learning piano, composing, sampling etc... But I obviously can't travel everywhere with it so I started looking for a more portable keyboard with the features I'm using on the KeyLab, whilst also allowing myself to expand on my live playing and live sequencing learning. That's how I found out about the KeyStep Pro about which to have a couple questions : -Is the integration with FL Studio possible and if so, where can I find more information about it ? -As I like chopping up samples and finger-drumming to make Daft Punk or 2003 Kanye West style of music, can the step sequencer pads be mapped to sample chops or drum one shots using something like Serato Sample or a MPC emulation ? -Lastly, can the Pitch, Gate, Velocity, Time Shift and Randomness rotative buttons/encoders be attributed to something else than their main function like to draw automations, adjust effects in the DAW, etc... Thank you very much for your time

I’m having issues my key step pro is hooked up from midi in to out of my 101 I’m not getting any sounds from built in sequencer or sounds when I hit keys... but when I plug it from it’s out to in on my 101 I can play sound from mc101 on keys but can’t hear the key steps pro built in sequencer lines nor are the lights moving when song is played ?

My Keystep Pro transport controls can't be synced with Ableton - care to make a video about it? The transport buttons (record, stop, play) and the 5 other knobs are not being active and being assigned to Ableton MIDI/Key mappings. The manual isn't helping either, and your last video on the subject is outdated (Beatstep Pro, 2015).

If I have an instrument connected to each Keystpe Pro track, Keystep Pro allows me to trigger the four tracks and send sequences and play the four instruments simultaneously with its respective track, or I have to trigger each track and send its respective sequence one of each time.

Still waiting for a pro version....with full sized keys. Pro keyboardists don't want mini keys.

hi there! i need your help arturia guys, i just bought the arturia keystep, but i cant sync the tempo of ableton with the keystep in order to run the sequence and the arp functions! i mean ableton as master and keystep as slave! please help me out!

Hi, is it possible to send MIDI program changes from the Keystep Pro, to change the presets/sounds of the synths which are plugged in ?

Question, can a tempo be stored with a pattern or scene? Or it’s just with in a project? I just wanted to know what options we might have if we want to change a tempo on a fly.

This sequencer doesn't work . It's a crazy nightmare, Not even the notes input is working as you say. All the Arturia users community are really appalled by Arturias behaviour. This is not fair. WE ARE USERS NOT BETA TESTERS

I got this since one year. SEQ is ok but it has the worst keyboard I ve ever seen (seriously I compared even with an Launchkey mini) For me its so hard to play chords with this and my hands are even smaller than average. I think they forgot that it needs to be also for playing not just for programming. Its solid and has easy workflow but you need another keyboard for to use with this If you like the playing ''keyboards''. Which is usually your expectation when buy one. A big failure from Arturia, a costly engineering drama :D. I definitely recommend you try and see the device before purchasing it.

If you were to create a more compact square grid version of the Keystep Pro (less keys more encoders - for us non keyboard players), this would be a classic.
