Ya' at' e' e' h As an Indonesian Muslim, I feel proud that Native Americans accept Islamic teachings. Historically, Native American tribes had previously embraced Islamic teachings (the Cherokee). They became apostates (Christians) by the Spanish conquistadors. Native American tribes have known monotheism. And know God. If asked who is your Lord??... The answer is Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds and all the blessings He has bestowed. There is no god but Him (Allah). And Allah says in the Qur'an Surah Thaha: 14 'Verily I am Allah, there is no god but Me, so worship Me and pray to remember Me.
Thank you! I have followed, prayed for and helped the Lakota, Dakota and Nakota Nations as much as I could during their continuing fight against DAPL! I also am against the Keystone XL pipeline for the reason you mention which, are similar to those of the Great Sioux Nation's reason for protesting the DAPL! May the Creator of all things be merciful and benevolent to all Native Peoples for, without the Native Peoples, America would be farther down the tube than they now are! Native People have always understood the relationship between Man and Nature and done their best to live in HARMONY with Mother Earth! The White, European invaders have done THEIR best to rape and USE Mother Earth and all her Energies, creatures, treasures and beauty to make MONEY! WE, as Native People MUST do all we can to keep White America from destroying the only home we have; Mother Earth! Without her, nothing can live and without the wisdom the Creator gives to us, WE will not survive as People OR as human beings! With our help and guidance, when they will listen, we can be of great service to both Mankind and to Mother Earth! If they do not listen to the wisdom of the ages we have kept and handed down to our progeny, they will surely destroy ALL!
The points that you have stated with regards to the questioning of allowing the pipeline, to be built without some true oversight, are excellent points. Although, with Trump signing off on both the Keystone, and Dakota pipelines. I am even more concerned, that the U.S. government will simply discard those treaties, as they have done in the past, like toilet paper! Moreover, Trump isn't one I see as a person, who can be trusted to hold his end of a deal. Due in large part to his past performance, with business agreements he had, that landed him in trouble with the government he now is President of!
