Yeah hate to inform you but the way KFC keeps their recipe secret is because they dont make the mixture themselves People from Higher Up make the seasoning mix and send it to them (Whats funny is the fact no one thought to take the seasoning home and send it to a lab for testing to see what the recipe was)
Alright, alright. Kentucky is pretty damn easy actually. And nah, it isn't pre-seasoned. Get a bunch of flour, pour into it as much black and white pepper as you can, alongside with a good amount of salt. Before putting the chicken into your mixture, let it sink in milk + egg for half on hour. After taking it out, dip the meat into some water. Season your beloved chicken parts into the flour then deep fry it (under pressure - don't do that at home!). There you go😁

@@tofudog5415 Yes! I agree with this, MSG is just a kind of salt for a flavourful flavor at food, As long as you dont put it too much, it'll be okay. MSG is actually kinda addicting cause it makes All food taste flavourful. (Except for dessert lol)
Actually Colonel Sanders probably wouldnt be upset about you using the recipe, he'd be more upset about the fact that you used the Fast Food Recipe rather than his Original Recipe, as the Recipe used by KFC sacrificed quality for speed, which didnt fly with Sanders
Aight so coming from a former kfc worker, u gotta add egg powder and powdered milk (full cream) to the flour mixture first, then u add the 11 herbs and spices. After that, the chicken is coated in flour for 2 times and in between the first coat and the second coat you gotta dip the chicken in cold water. The frying temperature is 170° celcius for 14 minutes and you gotta use *pressure fryer* for best results. For frying the chicken, you also gotta use a neutral oil. And there's also a special technique for prepping and coating the chicken with flour, i highly suggest y'all to watch "11 colonel's secret" by KFC New Zealand, so that y'all can see the coating and prepping method. Hope this helps!
Its easy you just need to taste your flour but the magic ingredient is MSG i put 3 teaspoon of msg in it and when i made it it taste actually like kfc but the chicken is more moist and has a stronger taste to it
@@ronnylee1520 is msg just for the taste or does it hold the batter on the chicken better? Because Nick always said all purpose flour sucked and we should fry with potato starch. And i wanted to make these but i like the seasonings on hot wings more… should I just add extra chilli powder or what?
I as a former kfc worker you actually made it better. They did not put it in buttermilk. We wetted the chicken in water and then breaded. The seasoning came in two pre mixed bags.
I MET the Colonel, when I was about 4-5 years old. He was doing some kind of promotional appearance at Greenbrier Mall in Atlanta. He gave me a balloon, but I lost it out the car window on the way home. You can't give kids anything nice....
