I love when KG said he needs to be overseas somewhere. 230 million Ja Morant should not be at the local mall unless a film crew is with him why he buys shoes for local kids. He should never be rolling through the hood. He should never have a random neighborhood kid over to play ball, his mother should not be shopping like us regular folks. KG is right. This is what happens with these get rich fast type of scenarios. The things we see in youtube or newspapers back in the day of lottery winners getting bankrupted after a year sometimes months this is why. The NBA needs a program for these college kids that before they sign their contracts both them, their parents and guardians have to be part of a program, seminars and stuff, and even have councilors that can help them with these stuff. Sure they can have their own agent, but the league also needs someone working with these kids in these situations.

What I read was that they actually called and spoke with him. It would be good for these men to meet with the ja morant. What he really needs is direction, destructive criticism he has enough of.

JA did what he wanted to do when he wanted to do it. He knows and understands the consequences of his behavior but he did it anyway. He did it because he doesn’t care what anyone has to say or what anyone thinks. Note that JA isn’t making excuses or giving reasons for his misbehavior but everyone else is. He won’t accept how serious this is. Maybe this is who JA really is. How can anyone motivate JA to act as though he’s a professional? Doctor, lawyer, Indian chief, or pro athlete each are expected to carry themselves in a certain way at all times. JA has devoted his life to basketball. He finally reached his goal of playing in the league. He’s the highest paid player in the league, the NBAs golden child and that doesn’t include any of his endorsement deals. If that, and being able to help his family doesn’t motivate him to act responsibly then I think he needs to be suspended at least half the season, forfeit half his salary for the season, and be suspended from attending all team events including practicing with the team.
