Thanks for all the lovely support, especially since Gizz shouted us out last month! Btw was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying this as a CD like the one we gave to Stu? If so, please drop a comment so we can get an idea of numbers xoxox
Extremely impressed with the production quality and attention to detail at KG’s classic motifs. The folkloric style is incredibly fitting of their inspirations in mythology and cosmic concepts. Keep it coming!
This whole thing is so sick, but wow the murder of the universe part is so insanely creative. The textures are wild and the Tik Tok voice is just the perfect level of satire.
man, if i had money, i'd buy this CD, or even a vinyl with no doubt, you gals are awesome, looking forward to see something just as wonderful! (no pressure, though, if you'll need a break take it, i'm not your teacher or client or whatever, keep it healthy) also it still amazes me that the guys saw and loved your work so much it inspired them, genuinely happy for you so much!
UPDATE: CDs of our KGLW Folk Covers are in production for those who are interested! They will be available to buy soon on our bandcamp: stacker.bandcamp.com We’ll be doing a run of 25 CDs which we think will be around £10 (plus shipping) each. Thank you and stay tuned! Xx
I know this is what easier said than done, but it would be so amazing if you guys performed some of these live in a bar at one of the pre concert fan meetups. Again I know that wouldn’t be easy but it would add to the concert community experience.
ohmYGODDDD i was just thinking the other day of checking if you had crumbling castle amongst your amazing covers what a treat to listen to it ! love your work so much
DAMN! this was executed so well on so many levels. Not only did you all NAIL the songs - the energy, instrumentation, and technicality - but you also NAILED this folk vibe. Well done on having the vision to see all these songs as epic folk songs. Such a sick compilation. Anoxia? So under rated, that song fucking rules, and the MOTU at the end caught me by surprise but also very sick haha. FINAL NOTE: I'm so stoked you did the slow, sludgy part at the end of Crumbling Castle. I'm DYING For them to play that live at some point, and when your version was ending I was thinking "ahhhh, they're probably not gonna do it either..." THEN. You hit me with it. Props!
Bravo! The creativity and musical aptitude on display here is marvelous, and the fact that it's just the two of you is highly admirable. A good day to you and it is a fine day for power of the arts.
