And Would you plz make a video abt applying for Medicine major through GKS. And is it better to apply through embassy or university cause I wanna have more chance . And is it a problem that I want to apply the time when my sis wants too. Cause our majors are the same🚶🏾♂️ I mean do they look for if we are sister and it has a negative point?!
Hello, are you applying for undergraduate or graduate degree? To be honest, I didn't see many students being accepted for Medicine major. You should check the list of successful candidates (the people who received the scholarship): how many people got the scholarship and which universities. You can find the lists in GKS notice in studyinkorea website.
Hello, do you mean the medicine major? I didn't see many students who got scholarships to medicine majors, except Veterinary Medicine. But I advise you to check the list of successful candidates (the lists of people who got the scholarship) in studyinkorea website.

I have 3 questions - 1- How many interviewers were there? 2- the department I am applying may not have many applicants in any case if I am the only one applying to that departments, they don't take the interview or they will take the interview? ( sorry for asking werid questions) . 3- after screening round result do university give time to prepare for interview or they take interview the next day? ( how did it goes for you when you applied? ) Thank you in advance
Hello, 1) I had one interview with the university that I applied; 2) I am not sure about that, but no matter how many students apply for the relevant department, they should conduct the interview anyway; 3) I got an e-mail that I was selected for the interview on March 24th, and my interview was held on 2nd of April, so you have plenty of time to prepare. Keep in mind that different universities conduct interviews differently.
@@armantellas ty for answering my question. For que 01 I asked about how many people were there to take your interview? I have heard admission committee member and prof. together takes the interview?
Thank you so much that's so helpful just I have a simple question: when you succeed and complete all the things..and when you arrive in Korea..did any of those in charge receive you at the airport...or did you go alone to the university in Korea at the time?!
Hello, I arrived during pandemic, so the situation was a bit different. We used separate transportation, I went straight to Busan for my language school. As far as I know, you have to go to the university yourself. But it is not that hard.
hi Arman do u think it is easy to get into the university without scholarship than with scholarship? i have a kind of bad gpa just hoping to get into the university just gave my interview and waiting for the answer cant wait😀
Hello, Armand. I applied to Kookmin Uni and earlier today I was notified that I passed the document screening. Currently, I am preparing for the interview. My korean is not that good so I have a question : I will surely answer the interview questions fully in english, however is it a good idea to use korean for a particular part, or sometimes use some korean words or phrases throughout the interview? Or Is it unnecessary (since it might look like me being inconsistent)? Looking forward to your opinion! Your videos have helped abudantly for my application. Just want to say thankyou so much and hopefully I can study at Kookmin just like you!
Hello, congratulations for passing the document screening! If you are planning to answer the interview questions in English, then I don't recommend to sometimes use some Korean words or phrases. I think it's unnecessary. But prepare to introduce yourself, your major and something about yourself in Korean. Thanks for your nice comment and wish you the best for the interview.
Hello I have question here for you what is more important between the location of campus and major or departement we intended to study? What if the university is more prestigious but the location is not located in Seoul? because you know some university have additional campus Thank you ☺
Thank you for the video very informative 😄. Last year the guidelines release on 10feb . University releases guidelines on the same day Or different day? kookmin application submission started from 17 feb. Last year??
Thanks for watching! Every year the date might differ a lot, but when I applied in 2020, the application date of Kookmin University was Feb 24, 2020 ~ Mar 20, 2020. I am not sure about last year.
Thank you for uploading such informative vlog ❤️ this is really helpful for us to prepare for interview. Now we know that we have to answer straight forward. Point to point. lots of love and respect.
Hello, I want to study global MBA and in GKS application form there there is column which is field of study can i put in it business administration ? Please give your suggestion.. Thank you
Genuine Question, Do you think they will only base their scores on your interview or do your documents actually add points when qualifying for the third round (niied)
There are two pages personal statement limitations and I have prepared one page there is any harm to submit only one page of personal statement ? Please reply and give your suggestion.. Thank you
Hello, there is actually no correct answer to this question. If you feel that you have said everything you wanted and gave clear arguments in one page, it is fine. There is no need to use all two pages. But if you feel like you want to add something, you can write more. It also depends on your writing style, for some people, one page might not be enough so they provided two. If you don't feel like writing two pages, there is no need to push yourself too much and repeat the same things.
I am applying to design major and I received my interview schedule in Korean. A friend of mine was asked questions in Korean even though they did not have topik. Neither am I very comfortable in speaking in Korean. So is it okay to answer in English? And what to do if you're unable to understand what they say?
Wow..such an insightful video for me. Thank you Mr.Arman. I have a question. Does the recommendation letter envelope needs to be A4 size? Because my recommenders put in the legal size envelope but the letters are in A4 size.
Hello, thanks for watching! Yes, the envelope should be just right in order for the recommendation letter to fit in. My recommendation letters were in A4 format too.
@@armantellas Thanks, I know that there is a 1 year of Korean language studying before the actual program, will a student be able to move on with his/her study if the school provides English/ Korean education? I'm actually worried about not being able to continue because I won't be able to understand everything.
Hi Arman! Thank you for your vid about GKS. For the document such as diploma certificate and transcript, does it need to legalize by notarize or apostile?
Sir, is 16 years education mandatory for graduate student who want to do Masters through gks because in India there is mostly 3 years bachelor degree so 1st to ba it's only 15 years plz help.
My university interview was held yesterday. 1. When will be the university interview result announced. 2. If I am not selected they will inform me, or if I am selected then only they will inform me, after university interview.
This was so so helpful!! thank you so much for all these useful tips! I am actually currently applying to Kookmin University for their masters degree and and most of your videos were a big help to push towards choosing it. ^_^
Hi ,can you please tell me about the family relationship document .I read the Gks guidelines, where it is written that we have to provide a family relationship documents such as a birth certificate of mine and my parents .Is it necessary even if I provide my parents valid passports where our citizenship is written down ?Do I have to send both of them ?
Can u please tell me that will I get holidays in between 5 years of my study program or I will be able to come only after completing my studies which is after 5 years
Hi Arman, thank you for the detailed video. I wanted to known can I apply to more than 1 university? Also, which is the best university in Seoul from where I can pursue MS in Digital Marketing?
Hello, in university track, you can only apply to one university. While in the embassy track, you can apply to three different universities. Regarding the Digital Marketing, I cannot tell you for sure, because I don't know much about this major. You can find all the universities which offer this major in the university list:)
@@armantellas how many interviewers were there? was it like a group video call or were they all in the same place with one device? ++how long did u introduce yourself in the beginning? 1 min? 2mins?
Thank you so much again. Is the interviewer is a professor from the major you applied? I am planning to apply different major from my undergraduate degree so, I am a bit worried.
Probably yes, but I have never met that professor during my studies.. :D Don't worry, just prepare to answer various kind of questions and you will be fine! :)
